I don't know how you could disagree with so many empty seats. If the majority saw the value the majority would use it, which they don't
Respectfully, you can only speak for yourself with this claim.
Many guests do not have park hoppers, so
cannot use this service.
Many guests take mid-day breaks and head to a second park from their resorts, not from a park.
Many guests are not aware of its existence.
Even all the "many" guests may not add up to much, due to the likelihood of overlap. Only Disney knows how successful the option is. The company appears to be satisfied, given that they've extended it beyond the trial period and increased the price.
It may seem reasonable to you but most resort guests cant get to the bus stop on time in the morning with much less going on.
There is no "on time" for resort buses. They come
about every 20 minutes, sometimes less frequently based on traffic. In addition, there is much more going in the morning in one's resort room that would affect getting to the bus "on time", than once inside a park.
There are many people who already don't like having to plan ADRS, FP,s etc but do so so far in advance and relish any it of spontaneity possible. While it may seen quit reasonable to be able to pass on things to make that bus departing at 4:10 pm it can also seem quite reasonable to jump on space mt with a 10 min wait after it reopens from a mid day closure, wait on grammy who had a tough time in the bathroom, take an extra 5 minutes ata dance party etc.
Did you mean relinquish?
Anyway, with a minimum of fifteen trips daily, on a published schedule, with an actual 30 minute interval, the availability of the Express Service really doesn't play into any lack of spontaneity. If you're not done with Space Mountain by 4 PM, simply don't expect to be on the 4:10 bus.
It's not for everyone; clearly it's not for you.
