I think the answer is here somewhere..... but tried searching and couldn't find it....
Can I call and pay for the room using CC ahead of time?
We have always done this with the regular Disney resorts and it just makes it so much easier knowing it is all paid ahead of time.

Yes, I have done this for our upcoming trip. So nice to know it's already paid for!

And then I have the Disney Reward Dollars to spend in Disney! It is so flippin' sweet!
 

Here's a question similar to the one above--how do we pay ahead of time if we're getting a teacher discount rate?
And, here's an attempt to complicate things more: My DH is the school employee--but he will be getting in much later than us on the day of check-in. Will the Dolphin allow my kids and I to check in without my DH? Can he just show his proof of employment upon his arrival?

You should be fine checking in without your DH. My Dh has yet to be at the desk upon check in and he is the one employed by the government. If I were you, I would have his teaching ID or his paycheck stub with you just in case. I may be in the minority but after several trips to the Dolphin they have yet to ask for any "proof" for discount If anything were to come up then I would show them what you have and explain that he will be arriving later in the day. :)

I have Bluezoo ADRs, and I'm thinking my kids (8 and 12) might enjoy the Club instead.

I can not get into the spg system to view my reservation for June at the Dolphin? I called and they told me it is because it is in process.(I havent been able to get into it for about a month?)

I can get into another hotel reservation for July? I have always been able to check on my reservation before? Can others get into view their reservations? I want to double check on some changes I made and I want to print out an updated confirmation. I know they used to mail you a confirmation, Do they still do that? :confused3

I've had the same problem with a fairly recent reservation. I keep meaning to call and ask for one to be sent to me.
 
Good idea, paras4ri. I tried to send a request for a confirmation email today through their new site but there was not any way to send the request after I had filled it out? I am guessing that they have some kinks to work out and that is why we can't "see" our reservations. I would just feel better if I have the printed reservation info with my upgrade when I get to the hotel.
 
I was able to find my July reservations on the Starwood site that linked from the Swan/Dolpin site. I can't give you the URL because I haven't posted enough. I clicked on "book a room at the Dolphin", then "worldwide reservations offices", then "reservations" at the top, then scrolled to the bottom for "check reservations". It didn't work when I used my confirmation number, but it did when I used my credit card that I had used to make the reservation.
I know that I contacted Barbara Alvis and she helped me when I was having trouble getting to my reservations. I can't put in her email address because I haven't posted enough, but if you type out in typical email format her first initial and last name with no punctuation, then the at sign then swandolphin, then a period, then com, it should work. Hope this helps. :smooth:

Guests of Disney resorts get "free" parking at the theme parks...Is that also true for guests of Swan/Dolphin?

Yes, S/D guests also receive free parking at the parks.
With regard to Camp Dolphin, my kids loved it last year. My son thought it was great going to the arcade and being given a handful of tokens to play the games. Just make sure you call and reserve your space ahead of time. I had gotten conflicting information last year as to whether or not this had to be done and we were lucky that they had space for our kids that night. HTH
 
I would call and have them send another copy of your reservation by email. I have done this recently and it arrived in my inbox right away. I called the 1800 number for Starwood. :)
