New Epcot Food and Wine Premium Package for onsite guests only

So I'm currently at the dolphin for a two week stay. I mentioned at check in that I'd bought the late night live premium package, which included in room gifts. They had never heard of it. I'm assuming that come the day of the late night live party the gift will be delivered to the room. Any other thoughts, anyone? Guess ill enquirer when we go to collect our tickets.

You might also stop in and check at the Festival Center to ask them if they know anything. (I think you have to stop by there anyway to pick up your party ticket.)
 
When we got back from the parks we had two voicemails , the first telling us that they had envelopes at the front desk containing some of the package and the second telling us they would not deliver the wine to the room without us there. Luckily by the time we got to the concierge they had also delivered the gift bags with the wine and truffles so we picked up everything. I will post pics after we get back from the hot tub :cool1:

Your VIP passes are supposed to be valid from Monday through Thursday. If you haven't received them yet, you definitely need to question it. Maybe stop in the Festival Center, or call the events line.

The Dolphin isn't technically a Disney hotel so that could be the issue. I would call guest services just to see what is up. I know Disney doesn't offer everything to Swan and Dolphin guests so hopefully the CM who booked you didn't do something wrong.

Yes, thank you so much for posting your experience and pics. Good to know that even with check in not knowing anything about it, it was all there by the time you got back. Looking forward to hearing others experiences as well, we aren't arriving until late Oct, ugh, the wait, lol

I suspect that's where the disconnect is. But the web site specifically says the package is valid for guests at Disney Resorts, and Walt Disney World Swan and Walt Disney World Dolphin resorts.
 
Seriously? Wow. That's very disappointing to hear.

I was at Food & Wine today. There are just tables with no chairs, they are outside (meaning no A/C), and they are small little areas that really aren't tucked away. I was really surprised by how it lacked that "premium" experience I was expecting to see. Coming away from it I was glad I didn't get the Premium Package to try (no offense to others who have purchased it).

Are there other premium areas that regular guests can't see? Like inside?

I was at Food & Wine today. There are just tables with no chairs, they are outside (meaning no A/C), and they are small little areas that really aren't tucked away.

Are there other premium areas that regular guests can't see? Like inside?

A poster on the F&W sticky thread listed 9 of the 10 premium areas. Of them, only the one in the Odyssey is indoors:

No offense to others, but I'm with you. The magic bands and glass are cute, but we would never wear the magic bands after leaving WDW- they would just get thrown in a drawer. If I can't sit in the area where I order and wait for a CM to run and get the food, I might as well just be standing in line for it. I'm okay with being outside, but I would expect a chair! I'm glad we spent our money on the Villians soiree at MNSSHP instead.
 
Each one of the premium areas serves specific Countrys, we only stopped at the one near Puerto Rico, which had menus for Greece, Puerto Rico and Desserts and Champagne. The lack of seating was disappointing for DH, but since I'm on wheels it was great for me. Our orders were taken and the food delivered faster than waiting in line at just one booth when we had items from 2.
 
I looked for the locations because I was toying around with adding this in November. I really was not impressed. Most of them are in full sun. And it is still hot this time of year in Orlando.

The goodies look nice but the locations and lack of seating were a turn off for me YMMV.
