New Epcot Character Spot Pics <Warning Not Dial-UP Friendly>

Hey all, I thought you might like to see some pics we took at the new Character Spot in Epcot. The line was crazy, I think we waited around 40 mins. Overall it's a lot nicer than the old Character Connection and more guests will probably find it since you can see in the windows from outside Inoventions West breezeway.

You're welcome, I was suprised to see it open today since it wasn't yesterday. The temporary character connection is already walled off so they must have done some fast work last night.

Where is the character spot located?

It's in the same location of the original Character Connection which was a pizza restaurant back in the day. It's to the right of the fountain in the Inoventions West breezeway.

The backdrops are so whimsical! I like that you can see through the windows - I actually missed this character spot the very first time we visited, as I had no idea it was there (and who has time to read a map!!)

We didn't even walk toward the "new" location today, because as you said the temporary location was still open on Friday. I did see the new sign on the outside of the door.

I did walk out of Club Cool and notice that the door there was closed off - and knew we had exited from there on Friday! Oh well, there's always another day - when hopefully it won't be so crowded. I've NEVER seen a 40 min wait at Character Connection.

Yep, big sign OVER the door this time that say "Character Spot" - before I think people missed it somehow with the other signage!

Can't wait to check it out!

It depends where (if anywhere), you exit Club Cool. We exited right beside the sign that said "Character Connection". It never pointed towards the building. I thought it was out on the patio area.

I know. I'm just wondering about there because in Character Connection they wore the YOAMD outfits.

That is kind of weird. I mean I do like the characters as they are normally dressed, but it's also nice to see them in something sparkly and flashy.
