New email for guests with special needs arriving at Resort

I thought I would share some info about an email I received yesterday. I sent it on to my TA and she spoke with a Room Assignment CM at the Resort that sent the email. Apparently it is a new email that is a trial at Caribbean Beach Resort being sent out to guests that may have special needs at the resort. Disney hopes to offer this service to all of their resorts in the future.
Our TA was quite excited about being able to speak with someone in advance who actually has the ability to assign the room. We arrive on Saturday and it looks like we know that all of our needs are met!
I think this is a wonderful service and it has taken a load off of my mind. We have some complicated needs and the CM assured us it is all taken care off, that we can just arrive and enjoy! Hopefully it won't be too long before they roll this out to all of the resorts!
 
I wonder how "special" they feel the needs have to be before they send an Email? Are they Emailing guests with ECVs, allergies, wheelchairs?

Regardless of the answer, I really think it's a wonderful idea that they are helping make things a little easier.
 
I believe it was for accessible room requests, but it could certainly be more. Many of our needs are not based on an accessible room and they were wanting to get those things sorted for us in advance.
