WELCOME HOME!!! I was a CM when I purchased our points and it was BY FAR THE BEST thing I've ever done!!
I bought our points at a HUGE HUGE savings and also got a raised eyebrow from my fellow CM's. I knew that I was not going to be a CM forever (sadly) and wanted to own DVC anyway. Low and behold, our facility closed and I am now no longer a CM (not my choice). I was THRILLED with our purchase then, and even more so now.
You can always use your CM discount for weekends or here and there if you choose, but your DVC will be there for you a lot longer! The discounts we receive for DVC are substantial and I don't regret our purchase for a second!
