new dvcer question

First off, thanks so much to everyone on this board. You all helped make our decision so much easier. We bought SSR in April before the price increase and can't wait to go on our first trip in November to visit our new home.

So my question is, how do you get a copy of Vacation Magic?

You will start receiving it automatically...at some point. The member web site has PDF copies that you can download. In fact, the web archive goes back several years.

We purchased in October '03, and the first issue of VM that we received was about March '04. It is only published quarterly, and it seems to take an issue or two to get on the mailing list.

You could probably call MS and see if they could help you out. We simply downloaded them from the web until they started to arrive.

First welcome to the DIS. tjkraz is right. You should start getting them each quarter. Call Member Services or your guide and they might be able to help you get a copy of the latest one that just came out. If it isn't already it should be up on the website in PDF format in a few days.

We closed on a resale in early April and have received our first copy of Vacation Magic. We never did get mailings to access the new website though. Usually a call to MS is all it takes to get things straightened out.

I just got mine yesterday, and I bought into DVC at about the same time you did.....so hopefully yours is en-route to you! (It came in a white 9x12 envelope...almost looked like some kind of marketing thing.)
