New DVC Ticket Deal

I had read earlier in this thread that you can do that. That would leave you two parks left for two other days, so using two parks in one day would be allowed.

Keep searching the thread for this specific question that was answered earlier. If I can find the post link...I will come back and let you know the #.:thumbsup2

:confused3 since multiple day MYW tix can't be used thusly, I doubt this would work (although I'd be happy enough if it did).

I haven't seen this question yet: If you are only going to be at the resort for 3 days, can you use the ticket twice in one day in two different parks?

It is valid for one day one park admission to each of the four parks so no, just like the MYW tickets you cannot use more than one admission per day - ie, only one park on a day.

It states in the offer that you can't upgrade to hoppers, and that combined with various references to one park, one day, so you can't use it to visit two parks a day. That only works with totally separate ticket media (not multiple day tickets) or multiple-day tickets with hopping.

I know it's just anecdotal, but I just ordered these, and linked them to MDE online. I asked if I had to stop at GS physically, and he said no -- only need to for APs to verify ID. Also clarified these are non-transferrable once assigned, and MDE let me assign them to guests linked to my account (who are not DVC members). So, should be GTG :cool1:

According to MS, for example, if I want to purchase for two couples, four additional people in addition to us, I understand that I can make 3 separate purchases. Then I would just give the two other couples their confirmation numbers, they can enter the info into their own MDE Accounts and they be responsible for their own fastpasses etc! Happy that they will control their own MDE and I will have no responsibility for it!!!

Good to hear that I don't have to stop at GS first! Was CONCERNED if I had to stop by GS first to "activate" if for some unforeseen emergency, we could not travel, our friends trip would be RUINED!:sad1: Trying to get all the "facts straight" before I mention this to other members of our traveling party"!:)

Based upon this post, I think that our friends will be VERY HAPPY with us and the offer! Saving MONEY is ALWAYS GREAT!:cheer2::thumbsup2

THANKS for posting!!:)

Thanks for the insight, everyone. I thought you might get four different park punches no matter when you did them during the allotted time period.

RE: Ticket pickup. The way I understand it is you DON'T have to do Will Call for the special tickets but you DO for the Halloween party tickets, even though both types of tickets can be added to your magic band before arrival. Is that correct?

No for that you need a hopper ticket and this is not a hopper.
Correctamundo...per https://dvc.disney.go.com/members/member-extras/special-offers/4-day-pass:
•This offer is eligible for Annual Pass upgrades, and not eligible for ticket upgrades or add-ons (such as the Park Hopper, No Expiration, or Water Park Fun & More Option).
thanks. wondering why I've always gotten X number of confirmations depending on how many were in my party.
You need one confirmation number per MDE account since you can only assign the confirmation number to one account. However, if you only have one confirmation number, you can assign tickets to guests on your account, and those guests can manage their own MDE account (FP+, etc).

Correct, otherwise, the first confirmation added to the first account would grab all 6 tickets. You would need one order/confirmation number per Disney account. That said, you can assign tickets to guests on your account, and those guests can still register on MDE and control their FP+ themselves. For me, it's for grandparents who aren't going to touch MDE, so having us manage their guest account is preferable.

Yep, hopefully someone actually confirms this works and posts back, but everything MS stated sounds logical -- that you just need to stop by GS for AP since it has an ID requirement. That said, if for whatever reason your guest didn't successfully register the ticket to their MDE account, and you don't show up, that could be bad news bears since if they did have to go to GS they would probably only let the person who ordered them pick up a hard copy (RFID ticket).

Per https://dvc.disney.go.com/members/member-extras/special-offers/4-day-pass:
•The ticket is valid for one-day one-park admission to each of the 4 Walt Disney World Theme Parks per day (parks may not be repeated).

Hmm, not sure why MNSSH would require GS since you have to scan in at MK turnstiles or in the park, during the event to get your wristband, so nothing really to pick up in advance.

Until I can confirm that for the 4 day DVC promotion that the member DOES NOT need to have it activated, I am reluctant to share the offer with the other members of our traveling party...Afraid if we for an unforeseen emergency had to cancel our trip, it would be a BIG PROBLEM for the rest of our party!
Accomodation wise it would be fine as they are staying offsite, but in regard to ticket and Fastpass, don't want to think about it.:sad2::scared1::scared1:

THANKS IN ADVANCE to any member who has used the 4 day tickets who can CONFIRM that they simply added the confirmation number to MDE and that they did NOT have to stop by Guest Services first!:goodvibes:) HOPING!:dance3:

Do we know this for sure...DVC member services told me that you could use two tickets in one day. I asked because we are in wdw for three days and would like to show my sons gf AK one morning while the boys play golf and then go to HS in the afternoon. Dvc said that would be fine as long as we didn't plan to go to the same park twice.

Since I haven't used it, I couldn't say for sure. However I feel my confident in my own interpretation and that of others reading all the words in the offer that you cannot do this. It is MUCH more likely that the DVC CM didn't know the right answer. Call back and ask them "is this a park hopper"? Because unless they are selling you four one day tickets, that is the only way you can do more than one park in a day.

No ticket, at least not in the past 25 years, has worked the way you want it to. This is a discounted ticket with fewer features and more restrictions. There's no reason to think it would be usable in ways a regular ticket is not.

As for what you were told; if you actually had two tickets (two 4-day tickets from this deal), you could use one to enter one park, and the other to enter another park. But that would be more expensive than just buying a regular 4-day park hopper.

I think that's likely to not be correct information. As was mentioned no ticket has worked that way as far as I recall either. Unfortunately MS is not ticketing and they do sometimes get it wrong. But if they were correct that would be a real positive for the ticket, but I'd not take any bet on it being correct information.

Must be. I think this deal is cheaper than a 3 day ticket, so they seem to be targeting those guests that only do 2 or 3 park days, but stay in DVC units for longer stays.

Since becoming a DVC owner, I stay for 10 days, typically early December. I go to 2 parks (rope drop to closing) and a water park.
My next 10 days, I was going to go to HS, and later AK, and park hop (I've never done it before) to MK to catch the parade.
But with this offer, I figure I can go to 4 parks for about $70 more than the 1 park for a full day and partial day in 2 parks.
So it seems to work for me, too!

I'll be at WDW in a couple weeks and stopping at GS (for TIW) and will verify you don't need to "activate" MNSSH or these special DVC tickets (they are for a subsequent visit). Won't quite be the same thing as actually using them, but at least will confirm straight from GS.

So, here's the response I got from the MS website regarding whether or not you have to pick up these tickets (I was logged-in to DH's acct., so it shows his name):

After purchasing these tickets and linking them to my MDE account for Magic Bands and Fast Passes, will I still need to pick up the tickets at Will Call?

Hi Steve! When you purchase these tickets, you will receive a Will Call number for your use in your vacation planning. You will need to pick up the tickets once you arrive to Walt Disney World at Will Call and show your Member I.D.

Side note: I just noticed it says member since 2014, which is incorrect. Should be 2013. Hmmm...

I think this is possible but can anyone confirm that you can use the DVC pass to return to the same park twice on one day?

We are planning to go to DHS one morning, return to BWV for the afternoon and then return to DHS for dinner in the evening. We will have park hoppers but our extended family are intending on buying the DVC ticket.

Thanks

NARM

I'd be surprised if you couldn't. Hoppers are not required for that so I would think the DVC ticket would allow re-entry to the same park on the same day, like a regular non-hopper.

I did ask that before I purchased mine and they said you could do that!

Thank you so much for all the wonderful information regarding this. My DD13, DD11, and I are planning a girls only trip for the first week of March and I plan on purchasing these tickets for us. It's nice to know before we leave what to expect and have no surprises later :goodvibes.
