We booked a few trips and quickly realized we didn't buy enough points!

We just purchased our first add on contract. We didn't even officially go to closing on the original contract yet!

There aren't many resale contracts available for the VGF yet so we purchased directly. We wanted to be assured of a few nights during Christmas at the VGF.

Then owning there is the way to go. But don't forget, this is a very popular time and you'll most likely have to book right at the 11 month window to be assured you get what you want. People might also be walking reservations or have the nights you want at the tail end of their trip. The home resort booking advantage only works if you use it! Congrats on your purchase.
