New DVC member - how fast can I get member ID, logon?

I got an email from the title company last Friday and they stated that Disney has been notified of the sale and will send me my membership information within two weeks. However, I've seen posts here that indicate that I can call DVC and get all that information early. I called this morning first thing, but they didn't have anything under my name yet. I know the holiday complicates matters, but I was wondering what others have experienced as far as how long it normally takes before one's in the DVC system.

you have to wait for the aktivation code. when you get it you can call MA or write a email and they will give you the Club ID

OK, how long does it normally take to get the activation code?

I waited until I received an emailed from DVC with my one time activation code, that's when I called member services / member administration for club id. It took about 10 days, so I say wait until you get that email. Even when you are setup and get logged into DVCmember.com website, you still have to wait for points to load, which may be another 10 days before you can do any actual booking.
