**NEW** - DVC Community Board

We are pleased to announce the <a href="http://www.disboards.com/forumdisplay.php?s=&forumid=89">DVC Community Board.</a>

Please enjoy this new forum for DVC trip reports, announcing add-ons, happy-dances, congratulating new members, roll calls, where-are-you-from posts, etc.

Questions and discussion about the DVC program (points, policies, banking, borrowing, villa and resort amenities, etc) are still appropriate for the DVC Forum. Offers and requests to rent are should still be posted on the <a href="http://www.disboards.com/forumdisplay.php?s=&forumid=29">DVC Rent/Trade Board.</a>

Non-DVC posts will still be moved to more appropriate boards, just as before.

You can easily get there right now using the "Jump To A Forum" link at the bottom of each page and it's also one of the link options if you go to the Disney Vacation Club link at the top of the page. There is also a link at Disboards.com .

I've felt for a long time that this board effectively served as a DVC Community board, and that the Mods sometimes didn't understand that.

Now everyone will be happy! Even the Mods, who can now keep busy moving posts between the DVC Discussion and DVC Community boards

I'm still not finding a link to get to the new DVC Community Board from the "Jump to a Forum" list. Am I somehow overlooking it?

Am I the only person that does not like the board being split up? I come here, a single point on the web, to read and/or ask any and everything about DVC. (except for the rent/trade stuff which I'm not interested in) Now I need to look in TWO places to read everything DVC. Another board I read about my car has split up from ONE central place into no less than SIX boards now. I'm giving the other board a week, but SIX boards is FIVE too many to read through. I'll try this for a while, but from experience I prefer ONE place to discuss ONE subject.

Our DIScussion Boards are all subject to the same existing DIS Posting Guidelines.

I would prefer one board, but can handle two since I'm not involved with any other forums. I think the benefit of two boards is a little more sense of freedom to discuss non-technical, more personal stuff regarding DVC.

I agree with MikeSquared. I guess I'm a bit confused as to what types of topics should be posted on which Board.
