NEW DVC buyer question RE: UY

OK, so call me dense, or just plain dumb, but I have a question.

The Use Year.... now I've read about it, but wow, i guess i'm just dumb! I even Called DVC, and still, I'm confused.

So, other posts are saying they got OCTOBER for their use year, allowing them to have 2007 points in AKL. So I asked DVC, because our guide said DECEMBER for us, and they said there is NO WAY 2007 points can be offered for AKL because it's not open yet. With the offer we're getting 160 free points to use in a year at SSR, but can ANYONE please help a sistah out? lol.

You can't get points at a resort that doesn't exist.

I would guess those who received Oct 2007 points bought while Jambo House was available. The developer points you are receiving (SSR or II) are to compensate you for the fact that points at Kidani will not be available until your 2009 use year.

Cheer up. For BLT, they will gladly take your money this very moment, and you will not receive any points until your 2009 use year; and since the resort will not be completed until September 2009, there will not be any use years available - and therefore no points other than to be borrowed - prior to the opening date.
