New DVC Add On Incentives released this morning

I just talked to my guide Kelly JO and here are the latest incentives which just came out this morning:

Current Price per Point - $112 per point for either Saratoga, Animal Kingdom, or Bay Lake

50 points or more add on
Saratoga - $13 per point discount
Animal Kingdom - $10 per point discount
Bay Lake Tower - $8 per point discount


100 points or more add on

Either one of the following

3 night cruise
$6 additional discount on top of discounts above
Example – additional 100 points at Saratoga earns $19 per point discount


125 points or more add on

Either one of the following

4 night cruise

$8 additional per point discount on the discounts seen at the 50 point add on level
Example – additional 125 points at saratoga earns a total $21 per point discount



Annual Dues for Add on available Resorts

Saratoga - $4.35 per point discount
Animal Kingdom - $4.85 per point discount
Bay Lake Tower - $3.67 per point discount

WOW...125 points at BLT would be nice for $96.00 a point. But unfortunately will play the wait and see on the economy for a bit before I bite. Shawn

David, did your guide give you any idea of how long the current incentives will be offered? We will be "home" in the middle of May and would like to add on while there if the incentives are still offered.

Thanks for posting. You don't happen to know if there is additional incentives for adding on more points do you? Like at the 200 point level? Thanks.

Hi - I was just told my the guide that the offer can go away at any time, theres no specific end date.

Also i dont know about other levels but i doubt it. I didnt have any specific add on levels when i asked about the add on incentives , my guide told me thats all thats available.

I know for sure that there arent incentives for a 25 point add on.

Thanks again. I just looked on dvcnews.com and they are showing the incentives now. It appears that the cash discount is the same for 125 pts. or 200+ pts. The only difference is if you do the cash and cruise incentive. The 125 pt. level is the 4 night cruise and the 200+ point level is the 7 night cruise.

yeah i think the discounts will get better and better, as disney gets more and more anxious to wrap up sales, especially for saratoga springs.

I hope theres a saratoga fire sale coming soon!!

Historically, yes, but they did offer <100 point incentives last year...

The math on DVCnews doesnt' exactly seem to add up correctly so not sure if it is $18/pp off total or $21/pp off.

I'm glad I waited on my VGC add-on. I just picked up 125 points at VGC @ $96/pt today.

Thank you for sharing this information! DH and I have been kicking around the idea of doing an add-on and we've been watching the resales, but maybe we'll take advantage of one these incentives!!

SSR is $112 - $13 + free cruise

OR

$112 - $13 - $8 for 125 or more points.
