Hey everyone I went to the parks this weekend and found that they just started selling donuts inside the parks at the coffee cart in the hub! This started Friday the 21st. They have 3 types and they are $5.75 each. I did a real short review of them if you want to see them.

They were alittle pricy but worth it! Very tasty. I hope they come out with more than 3 types soon. This is probably in response to Universal Studious getting VOODOO donuts in the coming months

$5.75 for ONE donut? And Walt makes you feel like its a deal?…He is and always will be the MASTER SALES MAN.

Wish they'd add a cronut like they have in Epcot! We'll have to try a donut on our next trip. Is the coffee any good at that cart? We always get coffee from Starbucks or Ralph Brennan's.

If I'm craving hot coffee that's where I typically go and its enjoyable. Never had anything other than black coffee from there though.

Yeah, from the donut choices they look a little too sweet for my liking. I would probably forgo the donuts for something else but good to know they are more options.

I'm not sure I would ever be hungry enough to pay $5.75 for a donut.

For some reason I'm ok paying $4 for a churro, but $5.75 for a donut is a bridge too far.

Same! :lmao: But I know we will get these even at $5.75 a piece. DH goes bananas when I penny pinch at the parks. I have to be sly about it. LOL!

I was tempted by the idea (and in price shock but it's Disney) but thankfully don't care for the options and found the review quite useful. But now that I think about donuts at DLR, a traditional donut store could make a killing there in DtD! (If they could get a deal on the rent that is!) ...And now I want a donut from my local store...

No thank you! I like sweets as much as the next person, but this trend of "over the top" sweets (milkshakes and donuts and ice cream sundaes with just WAY too much added to them) just really turns me off. These donuts are more of that. Donuts are best, IMO, pretty plain. Give me a plain glazed donut any day.

And over $5? No. That's just ridiculous.

I LOOOOOVE Donuts! I may have to try some of these on the next trips. One thing I wish they'd do is something I had at Blizzard Beach at WDW. It was mini-donuts covered in sugar and a little cinnamon. I think it came with a cup of white or chocolate glaze, too. Now THAT is something I'd spend a lot of money on. I can smell them right now!

I'd take a Mickey beignet over a doughnut any day!

I really wish someone could explain to me why anyone likes Mickey beignets when there are real, 100000x better-tasting beignets just a short walk away at Ralph Brennan's in DTD :P

Is it just the Mickey shape? Because as a Louisiana native, to me they are awful and I just can't eat them.

That said, I went to DL on Sunday and I really wanted one of these donuts and by the time I was there around noon they were already all gone! I checked back a few times before I migrated over to DCA around 3pm and they never had more :(

It's funny how different they are. Personally I just don't care for the more authentic beignets and I think that's because the only beignets I grew up on are the Mickey beignets. Who knows though? When I found out there was such a difference between the 2 I was kinda shocked. I feel like disney should have come up with a different name for their Mickey Beignets in all honesty.

I have had Donuts many times recently at Disneyland, just by going inside the Jolly Holiday Bakery near the Hub. They are baked fresh daily at the Bakery next to the Mickey & Friends Parking Structure, same ones you can get at the Disney Hotels. Jolly Holiday gets a limited amount based on the day and other offerings, and when they are gone, they are gone.

But this is nothing new.

Subnds like they had access and are selling them at the cart.

Hahah! Me too!! I detest the beignets in the parks but adore the RB's beignets! My taste buds must be Louisiana influenced
