Hi guys.....back safely!!!! Wonderful weekend and weather exceeded the weather channel predictions!
Very frustrated to get to our Fairfield and discover they had recently installed hi-speed wireless internet and my card(s) were at home. I tried dialing in but it kept telling me my password was invalid. Only thing I could figure out is that DH had the desktop connected at home at that time so it wouldn't let me connect in 2 spots.
***NOTE*** They told me all Marriott properties have to have hi-speed internet installed by 6/30. I think she said wireless, but if not, at least hi-speed.
Then back to the Swan internet connection questions I have....... I have both cards - wireless & regular ethernet. On the directions for the wireless at Fairfield, it said 'restart your PC & enable your ethernet card'. Huh? How do you enable the card? Can you tell I haven't used them yet!!! Then they provided a log-in ID & password. Will I need this at the Swan? Or will plugging in that cable to the ethernet card take care of everything? Do they give you an ID & PW to use?
Also, DF - do you know if the Universal hotels have hi-speed internet? Royal Pacific most specifically?
