I'm so very sorry to hear of your loss Lisa.
In the short time I've "known" you I know how you treasure friends and family and how deeply you feel both joy and sadness. As your beloved dog was leaving your family, a healthy baby boy was joining ours, a new great-nephew was born yesterday. I know that the prayers that followed your loyal friend also followed this small child and kept them both safe in their journeys.

DF I am so sorry for you and your family.

from the Dolphin.

WE went to animal kingdom late afternoon. Did a walk on to Dinosaur, then the Lion King show (fabulous!!) and then a walk on to the safari. We were able to see quite a few animals including black rino and a beautiful lion. Managed to save Little Red too thank good ness!!
Supposed to be rainy again tomorrow. Hoping it will keep the crowds away from the MK

Good Morning! I will wave goodbye for Disfanrn, as she has an hour longer drive than I have this morning! We're leaving for the airport in about 45 minutes! Yes, I did get everything packed, just had to add another suitcase, or two.... I guess that is so we can be strong for Disney and be in strength training at the airport, since I know we're only going to wear a third of it!

I got a confirmation e-mail from the Dolphin noting my request for a balcony room. Of course it said that it is a request and not guaranteed but that's fine with me. Keeping my fingers crossed...which will make it hard to type for the next 11 weeks!

The morning sunshine is filtering through the cool springtime breeze, and the sirens are wailing in the distance. Yet, my home seems "silent & empty." No sweet serenade or "howling" to the high~pitch notes, no happy "smile" to greet me with a big warm, wet kiss...no "Mac." Charles Shultz had it right.
When it rains...it pours. There is an "empty" ache to my heart, and my sleep is restless, at best. I guess the surreal aspects are waning, and reality is setting~in. It tears me apart inside to watch DD struggle as she "deals" with the loss. As much as I LOVE life...it is still difficult to "accept" death as a part of it.

I know I'm embraced and surrounded by true~blue animal lovers, as all of you enjoy your canine companions like the little life~souls they are...truly. Everywhere I look, I see him. My mind constantly averts to "flashes" of his memory, his past. The funny things he did, the adorable habits, and the nicknames.

Your support, prayers and love are appreciated more than I am able to express on this forum. You are all the BEST. Thank you, from the bottom of my heart.

Dreamflight ~ Lisa ~ I am so sorry to hear about the loss of your precious "Mac".... Losing a pet is one of the hardest things to get over..

My precious little baby boy, Kirk Jr. is in the hosptial. He has RSV... he is on breathing treatments, oxygen and an IV and will be in the hospital for 4 to 5 days... Poor little guy is just having a tough time I am off to rest up and trade out with DH.

Lisa - words are difficult to express when you consider that your family will go through this grieving for a while. Brighter days are ahead.
