What other page? All I see is 'check reservations' at the top. Click on that and it says check reservations. Has a place for name, reservation number, credit card number, member number. But when I put the confirmation number from the hotel in there it says I have no reservation......
I will let Dream res know about the member number to attach to the ressie form.
SO should I even bother to send them a note? Since DU made the ressie.....

Thanks for the feedback. I am thinking about requesting a balcony at check-in or should I just say "upgrade with a view of Epcot"-- the view is most important to me, even though I'm sure we won't be in the room much it will be nice to look out and see Disney and not a parking lot! How does this sound?

About when to send requests- I e-mailed my request through the Swan/Dolphin site on Thursday nite for my arrival on 12/25. I also faxed a request on Friday (which I understand is the day that the rooms are assigned. I hope this helps someone else.

I must be truly blessed today, as I also smell bacon cooking and I am not the one making it! Seems DD is treating us all to a Sunday breakfast!

crz4mm2>> Try to access your reservations just by using your spg number and information. I think that is how I was able to see my reservations last year. (then that "other reservations" link). I also think I remember there being a few weeks between DU having my reservation and it showing up on the website. I believe you are past that time, however, as I remember you talking about this reservation on another link. (I will also be there the same time as your family, and hopefully with a graduating DD!)

hi, we have booked dolphin for dec 04, and are really looking forward to our holiday, but we are getting a bit worried about the flu bug that everyone is talking about, does this happen every year, is it something that we need to worry about!!, we just dont want to travel so far to end up sick, susie :confused:
 
Tried the suggestions. STill says no reservations. sigh. I don't think it will work under the starwood preferred number as I didn't even have this number when I contacted DU to make the original ressies.
I have had the ressies since 12/8/03, so really not that long (sure seems like it has been longer with the obsessing I am doing :rolleyes: ) thanks for all the help.
Do you think I should wait to send upgrade request?

crz4mm2> when I made my ressies for S/D I did it directly through the Swan. When I went to the spg website, I couldn't find it either. So I called them and asked what was up. They explained that they have different code numbers and that since I called they would update everything. From then on, I could view my ressies, but they had different reservation numbers than the Swan confirmation number I got in the mail. Does this make any sense? I think you could either call DU or SPG or both and soon you will be able to view your ressies on the SPG website. Unless SPG knows about your ressie, they couldn't post it. I don't know if DU contacts SPG, but I doubt it. Not sure how it all works!! I am sure DU will take care of you, I have only heard good things about them. :)

I am sure that DU will take good care of me :D That is why I used them, the rep that they have here! I have sent an email to them, and one to starwood. I will let you know what I hear. I really don't think I that I don't HAVE a reservation, just want to be able to see it there :hyper: By the way, where in IL are you from? Maybe we are neighbors!
Can't wait to get there...

Special Sunday delivery today! I posted the gory details on the other thread.

Anyone else from NJ who is ordering better do so now for delivery by next Christmas.....

Gotta love that ole USPS. They don't call it snail mail for nothing....


PS For all of you who thought it was so funny that I hadn't gotten mine yet, let me tell you that the postmark proves that Disbug sent out mine way before everyone else and it was just the USPS that screwed up. Thus proving she likes me best, so there!!!!!

I just wanted to pop in before crawling into my heavenly bed :). We were upgraded to an Executive Suite at check-in!!! We have 2 rooms, one normal sized one with a King bed and another super-sized room (twice the size as the bedroom) which has a couch, a wet bar and a king murphy bed. Each room has a full bath, so our DD will have her own shower. She is going to be thrillled! Our view is OK, it's of the Swan from the "quiet" side. I would have preferred the "busy" side where I could see the Boardwalk and/or the boats, but this is still quite nice. We also have lounge access, but as far as I can tell, we need to go to the lobby to change elevators. I can handle that ;).

We're here for a whole week and then we move to even bigger quarters over at Old Key West. We're sharing a 3 bedroom Grand Villa (2500 square feet!) with another family for 6 nights. I guess the change in accomodations would have a greater impact if we moved from a room at the All Stars, but I think I'll just "suffer" here at the Dolphin.

I'll check in again if I can grab the computer from my workaholic husband (who will be working this week).
 
I'm so glad to read that you got an upgrade! We will arrive at the Dolphin shortly after you switch to OKW! The executive suite sounds great! I have requested a renovated Jr. Suite (fingers crossed) What floor are you on and is the executive suite renovated? What a great perk to get the executive suite instead of the jr. suite! Enjoy your trip! Have a great week at the Dolphin!

Robin~ Good for you - the S/D comes through again!!!

Cathy~ On my first stay at the Dolphin. I did the same as ozzie -booked directly with the resort. I had to call spg and give them the Dolphin confirmation# for them to find my ressie. They, then, gave me their confirmation# and my ressie appeared on the site. So, I had 2 confirmation #s. Even though you booked with DU on 12/8 and didn't have spg # then - still add it on. When I first booked the Dolphin I didn't have an spg# either - I hadn't discovered this thread yet. As soon as I learned all that I did here, I added my spg# and followed all the advice on to ask for an upgrade.

Disbug and Lou~ No Sunday delivery of mail in MA. I do live in the state that the Puritans settled in, remember? Okay-I'm hoping today is the day. Am I waiting for the mailman or for UPS delivery?

Oh... and, er ahem... Disbug, I thought you told me you liked me best! :teeth: :teeth: that's okay, I was the first one to get a surprise left at the Swan desk from you - my Mouseteacher badge! So there, Lou!:p
