Joanne, I hope you have a LOT of patience! What is wrong with our mail system here? :D

I could be wrong ... but I seem to remember DF99 knowing a way to get there without going down to change elevators. Maybe DF will check in and let us know if there is a way ... but ask, or give it a try, check around. At least those Dolphin elevators are FAST!!!::yes:: Have a magical vacation!

That's right, Mouseteacher! You have a little something to "tide you over" while waiting for your mug! Of course it could get a little messy trying to drink a little java from!

We'll have to hear from the other MA mugs to see if they are quite as slow as Beantown! WAITADOGGONEMINUTE! Don't they put molasses in baked beans?? "Slow as molasses"? Hmmm? Are there alternate reasons why BAWSTON is called "Beantown"??

WOWZER! Congratulations! Never in my wildest dreams! Are you Super Diamond Crusted Platinum SPG? That is the most wonderful upgrade I've ever heard and could ONLY happen at our lovely Swan Dolphin Resorts! Here, Here!

jmcross and crz4mm2 You are on the new mug list!

I am OFF to the Post Office (uhghh!) this morning to mail my spiritually uplifting words of greetings to all I have ever met or am related to! (Christmas Cards, in other words!) I have abstained from the computer generated family info letter mostly because I can't remember what happened last Tuesday, let alone over a whole year and would hate to EXAGERATE! (RE: DD9 is an excellent scholar and after finishing 4th grade has been accepted into Harvard for the Fall Semester! DD15 has won a HUMMER for selling the most Candy in Latin Club. DD2 has started playing the piano. I especially like it when she plays her own compositions!) That kinda stuff!

A few more presents to wrap, a little light baking THEN on Christmas eve morning I should be ready to START PACKING for WDW!!

Great upgrade!! I am sure you will enjoy!

Mug talk/card talk>> I am cracking up here!

Lou>> Haven't you figured it out yet? Many of us are this way because..... oh nevermind! :)

Happy no-school Monday!
Debbie

Just checking back in to say hi - I was sitting in the kitchen which is closest room in the house to the mailbox ---->waiting, waiting for the mail. I left my post b/c the dog was begging to go out. The mail hasn't come yet.

:moped: well, back to the kitchen...to wait some more!

Mail came........................................................

:( add tears - NO MUG!

:bounce: :bounce:

As I was posting my crying post, the dog was barking at the door. I went to see why-----------------------

The mailman came back ---- I have my mug!!!

:teeth: :teeth:

Oh, Disbug, it is beautiful! :D (add tears of joy!!!) Thank you! You are an angel!

Mouseteacher, I'm so glad that you finally received your mug!! It must be all that Christmas mail in Boston that held it up! Enjoy!

Muffy

Mouseteacher I'm glad you have received your mug. I'm still waiting for mine I know it will be here soon. I live in Canada so it has further to come.

Mouseteacher,

Did you receive the $10,000 I sent you or is that still in the mail?

Mouseteacher,

Congrats on FINALLY receiving your mug! I'll let you know if the mail system is as slow after the holidays.

Massachusetts should have LOTS of presents to open this week with as slow as the mail has been!

Joanne

 louihavethe10Kandwilldepositittomorrowthanks.

I am going to have hot chocolate a little later on in my mug. My first drink frpm the precious mug.

I excitedly showed the mug to my DH and DSs who already know I'm a little  when it comes to the DIS and Disney so they just gave me wry smiles.

poohbear7~ I hope yours comes tomorrow - you will be very very happy.

But NO ONE will be happier than moi!:teeth:

Well, it's 11:30 PM and I am back from shopping. I have been looking for some unusual things for DD2 who has CP. I found a really cool battery operated scalp tingler! Looks like long wires (like spider legs) with a handle. She LOVES to have her head massaged (me, too!) so she should like this. Also found her an Oral B Spin Brush type toothbrush for her stocking.

I am on the hunt for Chocolate Oranges (the milk chocolate kind). This is a must-have tradition (shoot me for waiting so late!) I will have to look at Eckerd's tomorrow.

Made it to the post office and mailed 100 Christmas cards and a few baked goodies. I am now enjoying an adult beverage and thinking some comfy slippers would be a good thing to add to my Christmas list! If I didn't think the caffeine would keep me up, I'd have a cup of Sorority mug coffee! Night all! Don't let the bedbugs bite!

Poking my head up from a pile of work to wish everyone a very happy holiday season:

Merry Christmas to those of us who celebrate the Birth of Jesus;

Happy Hanukkah to Lauren and others who celebrate the Fesitval of Lights;

And Happy Holidays to any others who may celebrate a different event this time of year!

At least I've managed to take off tomorrow and also Friday, making it a great five day weekend with my very loving and understanding family, to make up somewhat for the long hours lately (which I'm told will continue into February). Our Disney trip over President's Day week may have been pulled out from us anyway. My job next year to get our systems in shape here so this is a much easier time of year in 2004 - and my incentive is our planned Christmas Disney trip.

I miss reading and posting regularly - but in a month or so things should be back to normal. To those who are going soon or already there - have a great time and be sure to post your trip reports. They will be great to read once winter takes its grip here in the Windy City.

Bill

Good to hear from you ww52! Happy Holidays to you and yours!

Disbug>> Have you tried Target? I know I just saw them [the chocolate oranges] recently, somewhere! I think it was at Target.

Let it snow, let it snow, let it snow! It is snowing outside! (This statement is only happy during the Christmas season!)

Birthday girl is still in a nyquil slumber. I am trying to figure out how all those years went by and I am a mother of an eighteen year old!

Happy day before the night before Christmas!

Debbie

:wave2: Hi, Bill - Happy Holidays to you. You'll love Disney at Christmas.

Debbie ~ I often wonder the same thing - having an 18 and 20 yo. Where has the time gone? There is a tinge of nostalgia and sadness that the magic of Santa and those Christmas mornings are but memories - albeit wonderful ones.

DF~ are you on a "sojourn"? Missing you.

Birthday girl is up and about and now wants her nails done! She is working on the Mom tearing up factor, as she says they'll match the ring I gave her, which was given to me by my mother, which was given to her by my father on their "pre engagement":) We skipped hockey practice today. I figure the star defense hockey player can stay home one practice so we ALL can eat at the same table, at the same time, for her 18th birthday dinner. Wasn't it just last year that we pulled all of our resources together and drove to Disney for her first trip at the age of? I still laugh when I see a "Waffle House" as that is where she learned how to count spoonfuls of "grips", which she loved, and I still can't stand! Thanks for listening to my endless ramblings!

hugs to everyone,
Debbie

Carmen San Diego? NOT! Still looking for Chocolate Oranges. None at Target (they only have the Dark Chocolate kind...we're on the hunt for the milk chocolate variety!)

Just got back from a Gingerbread house making party! So fun! Every family got their own gingerbread kiT and candy and icing and the party was on! Stopped by Publix first to order trays for tomorrow evening. We have an entire neighborhood of luminarias when it gets dark. And people stop by for a bite and a bit of Christmas cheer! Just love this time of year... gone to pack for Disney (tonight, tomorrow?? sometime!!)

 Hello and holiday greetings to all. Thanks for the online Christmas card #1HM and Mouseteacher. They were GREAT!
