Question about DCL future cruise credit

Not going into all the details, but my family was going to go on a concierge 7 day cruise on the Treasure. We are no longer going. I got most of it refunded, and got partial credit for the deposits since I bought the insurance. They sent four different credits, one in each of our names. It's now going to only be myself and my daughter going. Am I able to use the credits for my ex-wife and step daughter in addition to mine and my daughters credits toward our cruise, or do they have to use it themselves (they aren't going to)? Hoping that was clear. Thanks!

When a future cruise credit is issued due to problems during a cruise (for example, a cruise diverted or cut short due to a storm or mechanical issues), it is usable only by the person to whom it is issued.

I am guessing that the future cruise credit from the "Cancel for Any Reason" feature on insurance through DCL works the same way, since the wording says the credit is non-transferrable. That's just a guess, though.

Your best bet would be to call Disney Cruise and ask.

When I had to cancel a cruise with my sister a few years ago, the credits were issued to each of us. I was told I could not apply my sister’s credits to a booking for me; she was the only person who could use the credit in her name. Might be best to confirm with Disney if that policy still applies.
