(If that engine light is on a Jeep Grand Cherokee, the same happened to us our last Disney trip-the problem turned out to be the gage and not the engine, about $50 to replace. But what a blood pressure raiser!)

Thanks for the encouragement (and #1 Hockeymom). I'm going to try for POR with a code and hope for PD to somehow get to AKL anyway for the first part of my trip-the Dolphin is already set.

All of the pictures are incredible!! WOW! Thanks for the day-brightener. J...your kids are adorable. How old (young) is your son? He is tall, handsome and looks quite mature. Does he take after you...or DH? Is that your DD flipping HIGH in the sky? Wow...incredible! I do NOT want this Christmas vacation to end, or school to begin. This Holiday season seems to have passed too quickly. I even miss the Twilight Zone marathon on New Years Day (anyone else watch this?).

NEWS: I confirmed and made the reservations for 10 eves in the 1BR villa @ Vero today! So, the Dolphin, and Vero...and Plane are all in the bag. I have to confirm (tentative) the Portofino Villa suite on Monday, and then work on the auto ressies. I get so excited with each step. I still enjoy the journey as much as the destination. There's a thrill to the end of the phone call, a sense of satisfaction only YOU (all) would understand. Must be what gamblers feel when they hit the jackpot! It's a "high" which lasts a LONG time...!

Disbug, I'm praying that you have good news for us today about your DD. I know this must be so hard on you and your DH. Please take care.....

The Blue Zoo is incredible! All I can say is try the fried lobster! Wow! DH had the fried lobster too and DD had rotisserie market fish. All entrees were incredible.

After looking over the menue for Palios for what seemed an enternity I ordered the lobster tortilleni. It was only ok. DH and DD had the grouper and thought it was good. (next time i will get the veal like a sigma delta should!) Last night we ate at Boma! What can i say about Boma that hasn't already been said? It is a great buffet! I'm still full this morning but will force myself to have a cho. crossant in CL!

We have spent alot of time in Epcot and MGM. We did get on mission space! I am happy to report that none of us got sick on this ride! Today we are going back to MK. Haven't been to MK since NYD! TGM was correct and it was very managable until around noon. I hope to get the family up and out early as it is the best way to tour MK!

Last night we went swimming in the grotto pool. It is a whole new experience at night! Tonight we are going to Hoop De Doo! A tradition that we all enjoy.

DH downloaded our pictures to imagin station last night so i should be posting them soon. This is our first year to bring a digital camera. I find myself still using my 35 mm canon too. I guess some things never change.

There is a new soap at the Dolphin! It is a milled full size bar of aloe vera crabtree and evelin soap! I just love it! They still have the oatmeal soap but i "think" they are phasing it out. You won't miss it after you try this new stuff!

jmcross~ I believe you will really like the Swan. DH and I loved our stay this past July. I liked the coziness/smallness of it. With that said, I love the Dolphin, too --- I'm a bit bi-polar when it comes to the S/D and deciding which I like better. I guess I like them both equally.

To my fellow teachers -jmcross, ozzie, Caroline, Debbie (did I forget anyone?)- Monday morning is looming and it will be back to our routines!! It takes me a bit to get back up to speed once back in the building. The vacation time certainly did fly by. Funny how vacation time zooms and regular time creeps! ...particularly when at WDW!

Last night we went to the Flint Generals hockey game. Its old time hockey at its best! Not for the mild at heart! Today DS has a hockey game, minus the fights, then it is the usual birthday dinner out.

I have an eighteen year old DD to throw into the bunch.. and she needs a new boyfriend! Its not that she got rid of the old one.. we'd like to get rid of the old one since he's been around too long! LOL

Work? Tomorrow? Do we have to? Can't we get a note from our principal saying we need more family time?

Just got home... me, DH, AND one little miss UNHAPPY CAMPER!(DD2)! What an ordeal, poor baby.... they weren't going to let her come home, because the doctor is not happy with how little she is drinking but, we will be diligent in getting her to maintain fluids.

Hi, Mouseteacher! About the night time photographs, I am getting better at taking them. The trick is to turn off the flash and be "vehwy, vehwy" still while waiting for the exposure to finish. A lot of times I have to redo until I get something decent. Especially with only a 2.0 camera, I have been pleased lately. Thanks for asking!

I was wondering if the rate reduction for government employees applies to Jr. Suites. We're booked at the Dolphin in April, and we would love the extra space.

Hi GoofyinNY....yes, gov. rates apply to Jr. suites too. At least it did for teachers back in winter of 2002. It is more than the standard room, but call the Dolphin and ask. They will quote you prices with gov. rate for all types of rooms, with or with club level. Compared to other deluxes I thought it was a steal, so we got a jr. suite on Club level and loved the extra room and the goodies in CL. Good luck. Let us know what you find out. Oh yes, you can also ask for a renovated room or jr. suite.

Our little Jr. went to the doctor and he weighs 15 pounds... He is also trying to crawl. He has been up on all fours and rocking back and forth, but has not taken off yet...

Muffy ~ Keep the post coming from inside the Magic... A dip in the pool sounds fantastic... high today was in the 40's here in North Texas and its suppose to be cold here all week. Have you heard anything on the renovations at the Dolphin?
