I got a paper copy of my receipt today....what does confirmed A balcony mean?

just curious....

my kids also got postcards from Mickey Mouse today

I don't know anyone that has been to WDW lately, and these were postmarked in Orlando. Very mysterious......

I do believe "A" is the great view! Postcards from Mickey! Cool! As long as they don't say call 999-999-9999 because you won a free Florida vacation, call it pixie dust and smile! Perhaps the resort sent them? I mean.. perhaps Mickey sent them from the resort?

OK everyone... I need, I am begging, for PD and P again! No letter in today's mail so I called the secretary. She informs me that she didn't get permission to send them out because we were supposed to be one of the 17-1/ k-3 schools and now we aren't, but we still might be, but it might be a clerical error, but no one will get back with her, but don't worry yet, we really know nothing. ARGHHHHHHH! I stayed calm, she told me not to worry yet. I AM WORRIED! My principal has been in various meetings since last Wednesday and she has emergency phone calls into him, also, since people want room assignments. ARGHHHHH! It worked once, so maybe it will work again if we all chant "I believe" at once? *****thank you in advance!*****

Disbug>> just read artist pointe review. Am I to understand that you had all of your wines at once and not course to course?? Oh No!! I am at least glad that your cali grille birthday dinner went well! On the thread question, I dont believe the individual posts have links, only the page numbers. Don't worry about it! It was nice to reread the first installment before I continued sharing your journey! Poor older daughter.. in school during the Disney trip! I am sure it will be nice to spend some alone time with the two youngest, though!

You read right! I was sitting there looking like a lush with 3 glasses in front of me and nothing left to eat! (One of the excuses I used to order dessert! hehehe!)

I think I must be confusing you if you think I've left DD14 behind... we are back from our trip and she is in school today while I'm home from work for the day! DD8 is in parochial school so she starts on Wed! I am just writing my trip report from memory! I hope this doesn't spoil it for you??

BTW all you fellow educators, my older sister is a teacher also, dept head for high school special ed, and my mother is the senior auditor for our county's school system internal auditing dept. EDUCATORS UNITE!

thanks for clearing that up on the view--I usually don't get a paper confirmation, but for some reason, I felt like I wanted to have one this time. strange, huh?

I can't figure the postcards out...I don't know anyone that has been to WDW since July 4. I know the mail out of there is slow, but I don't think it's that slow, LOL! My 8 year old was smart enough to know that it isn't Mickey's handwriting--at least that it doesn't match his autograph. The cards were mailed from Orlando, too. Very cool, but very mysterious

judirain ~ I usually pack the day before. Although, I do get the suitcase out a week before and begin to organize stuff nearby it and make a list as I go along. It is much easier when the kids are older can pack their own stuff - but I keep asking them questions like - "Did you remember to pack...?"

well, the handwriting isn't in the traditional Mickey style...my 8 year old sone and my 22 month old daughter each got one, but my 13 year old didn't.....each of the cards say "we can't wait to see you, Mickey" on them. the address was done on a label.


at any rate, the kids are thrilled--Anna won't put her card down

only 6 and half weeks....once school starts tomorrow I can really start planning! yay!!!

I mailed postcards every week before we left to all the family member kids. I used Mickey script and Mickey Postcards. It's odd though, the last set I mailed a week before... No ONE got their cards, not even my kids.. HMMM? That is suspcious!

I am sitting here on my favorite thread and decorating a small canvas tote bag with my DD to hold her "drive down" toys. I should be shopping, cleaning and packing but instead I started a craft project Oh well it will get done and DD is having so much fun. She got a real kick out fact that after I spent the first minute lecturing her on being careful with the fabric paint I squeezed the flouresent orange tub and needless to say we have a very nice glowing orange design on the ceiling.

~judirain! ROFLOL! That is SO funny! I love it when we try to instruct our children and we do exactly what we tell them to watch out for! Just shows our kids we are human! (And thanks for my BD greetings. It has truly been a great day! MIL stopped by to drop off a lovely card and purple choker necklace...Purple being my favorite color for some reason!
