BettyCv ~ They won't require you to have a rollaway. Are all 3 children sharing a double bed? I'm assuming they are small enough to do this.

Thanks Mouseteacher!

The kids will all be four years old when we stay at the Dolphin. Believe it or not, we have never spent the night in a hotel with them! I have heard other triplet moms say that the first thing you should do is re-make one of the beds sideways, so they have more room to spread out.

On the few occasions that we've had all three in our king size bed with me and my husband they have slept fine, even if they end up all over each other. I guess they got used to that in the womb! LOL!

Thanks for the info. I don't know why I was thinking that I had read or heard somewhere that I would have to rent the rollaway. The $139 rate, with $10 resort fee and then another $25 for a rollaway wasn't sounding as good...

"A DREAM IS A WISH YOUR HEART MAKES" ...may ALL your Dreams come true! Enjoy the DOLPHIN/SWAN...and the WONDERFUL WORLD of DISNEY, THE HAPPIEST PLACE on EARTH! ;)

WOW Betty, 4 year old triplets! that is so cool. I don't think they can force you to get an extra bed, especially if you explain that they are fine all sleeping together:D

Oh yes, great photos Lisa, and up to 1500 posts, no less. Your trips are certainly ones to be envied!

Dreamflight- Great pictures! Seeing them makes me so excited!! I get such a thrill lookng up Main St. and seeing the Castle! This is the first time at WDW with my digital camera, so I will be taking massive amounts of pictures DAILY!!!

Thanks for posting..

Hello wdwphanatic, I was wondering the same thing last week and spoke with an associate at the Dolphin about this a few days ago. Apparently, the renovations will begin in another week or so (mid-April) starting with the suites. Unlikely that the std. rooms would be completed by the time of your stay. I was told that all Dolphin renovations should be completed sometime in 2004.

Great photos Dreamflight and Mouseteacher! I"M READY!!!:sunny: More snow tomorrow??? NOOOOOOOO!!!!

Great pictures dreamflight99 :D

Where is the great waffle from? Tony's?

Wow!! Just got to work (had to battle bad roads - its SNOWING here) and turned out my computer, logged into SPG, and low and behold - the points arrived!! I Screamed!! Luckily no one was around yet!! (LOL) So, the moral of the story is- yes, the points can arrived in your account expediently!!

Next question- and this is important - Do I aks for the UPGRADE to CLub Level with points NOW, or when we check in?????

Thanks you guys! This would have never, ever happenend without all of your help.

(I even DREAMED about DISNEY last nite)

I just reserved the Swan for my family's trip in August at the $139 rate open to everyone until 4/15. I also talked friends into going at the same time, now they are looking to me as the expert.

I am looking for some very general information about the Swan and its sister. I tried wading through this huge thread and got overwhelmed. Can someone give me a link to a FAQ sheet that is not put out by the resort itself? An "unofficial guide" if you know what I mean. For example, I heard mention of discount dining coupons available at the front desk and wonder if they still exist. I wonder if my $139 standard view will be a disappointment. Is the bus transportation the genuine Disney bus system or something else. I ordered the Starwood card but found no info on how the points accumulate.

I have tons of basic questions like that and need to know if you can direct me to one spot (or two or three). I already checked out WDWIG which was a great start.

Thanks for your help.

beader7 we are back and forth with upgradingnow or at check-in. I think i will wait till check-in and try then, spg doesn't seem as well informed as the dolphin front desk is with this type of info. I'm sure the front desk will be glad to see me go I have tons of questions, i'll have to write them all down so i don't forget anything.

E mail your request and then see what they do at check in before you use your points.

Thank you, Deb Wills site is where I started my search and it was a great introduction. I was looking for some thing here from all the fans/experts that might condense the humongous threads currently running.

Thanks to all the wonderful information on this board. I have a reservation at the Swan with the teacher's rate and an Amex Starwood card with 25,000 points. I e-mailed the Swan with a request for a comp. upgrade. My question is: should I call SPG to upgrade to Club Level using my points before I go or should I wait to check in? Should I call and ask to be upgraded to Gold?

Emme,Beader7 and disnurse -it seems we will be in the world during the same time. Anyone up for Jellyrolls on 4/17?

Denise

Congrats Beader7, I am so happy your points showed up at last!! Have a great time, and leave some Pina colada mix for me... we arrive on 4/29!!

Does the Dolphin have a "ROOM CONTROLLER" as the other disney resorts do whom you can fax your requests to? I have already e-mailed through the "special requests" on the SwanDolphin website, but was wondering if a fax just prior to arrival would help? Any one have the fax number or am I over-obsessing?

Mmmmmm...YES! The picture was taken before the WHIP & Extra FRUIT was slathered on the top! LOL. :p

Ozzie...The MUPPETS attraction is my ALL TIME #1 in Disney Studios! :)

HappyTrails...thanks for the UPDATE on the RENO'S! This may indicate...my SUITE will be Different when I check-in this summer. ;)

Beader7...I TOO get a "THRILL" when I gaze up Main and see the CASTLE. In all the world, It's my favorite (Castle). ;) Keep smiling, and dreaming...as SOON you'll be THERE! So happy the points have arrived...all the rest is JUST DETAILS. Enjoy! :smooth:

WDW2000...yes, the WDW Swan/Dolphin have a room controller & a fax. Both are available on the www.swandolphin.com website. But, the email works just as well...so there should be no need for the fax too. The special requests email form is specifically set-up to field these things. Good Luck with your requests. :)

I am trying to figure out if it's more worthwhile to use my starwood points for a couple free nights (which is what I have enough for), OR for the "cash and points" promo. My question is this..if I book 2 free nights with my points.......what am I responsible for paying? Do I still pay the $10 daily resort fee? And will I pay any taxes on that room? trying to figure out what is truly "free!"
