New Disneyland opening in IDAHO?

If he's makin' donuts he's my kind of man!

Sorry that was a quote from my favorite movie, Wedding Singer. It just fit perfectly after what you said about MIB guys being HOT!

I agree, it's not often I find someone that can joke around like me and not take things seriously! I bow down to you, I could no longer compete. DD 3 came down with severe bronchitis this morning and could barely breathe. My mind has been on breathing treatments today instead of where it belongs on lobbying for a Vegas Disney park! Shame on me!

:rotfl2: I thought that donut line sounded familiar. Love that movie.

Hope your daughter is feeling better. It's tough when the little ones are sick. You had an excuse, no bowing necessary. Let's just walk off together both as winners. Ok that was the cheesiest thing I've said! Actually I was wondering what you could come up with next since I wasnt sure what the heck else I would say....Except Go Team Phoenix!!!

Yes, the first movie DH and I ever went to was Wedding Singer and we quote it all the time. As we walk past the shuttle area into DL by all the giant cones, we always say "They were Cones" just like the limo driver in the movie after he does his test! Cracks us up every time. We are easily amused!

Yes, she's feeling much better today, thank you. I was scared for a while yesterday because her blood oxygen levels were really low and they wouldn't let us leave the Dr's. office till they were back up. She was struggling so hard to breathe that she just wasn't getting enough oxygen in.

So for now, I am hoping she will be back in tip top shape in 20 days for our trip, isn't that horrible. Okay mommy needs you to get better now so we don't have to cancel. :rotfl:

:rotfl2: We always quote Wedding Crashers. Our newest is Talladega Nights though. At some point in a conversation one of us will say "Shake and Bake". The kids even do it and they haven't seen the movie.

Glad you daughter is feeling better. that would scare me. I'm sure she will be fine for your trip and I would be thinking the same thing. Please get better before we leave. Yes, I could see myself thinking that.

Last time we went to DL I was so sick with a sore throat. I couldnt eat the whole time. Well except cotton candy of course. Dh suggested we stay at home but I said "Shut your mouth when your talkin' to me". Ok another line from Wedding Crashers. What I actually said was that I would go even if they had to wheel me in there half dead. Luckily it didnt come to that.

We need something in the North. There is already Great America, Marine World, so we have the Theme Park status.

I'd say that "execs have promised a new Disney Park in Northern California"*

*might not exactly be accurate

Wouldn't THAT be just FABULOUS?!?!?

You know... if we were really a creative bunch, we'd be able to come up with a way to make this happen!!!! I'd settle for anyplace CLOSE! Of course, I still say Idaho would be very good for me, but I would agree to N. California, Portland, Seattle also. Come on. Think, think, think!

You know i feel badly sometimes that I have never visited Lagoon or Silverwood.....Disney or nothing type of family i guess.

Never done Silverwood but Lagoon is fun if you go in not expecting Disney.

I'm taking DD6 there when she gets out of school to test her. I have taken her to DL and WDW and both times she fought me on the rides. I went to DL in December and didn't take her because i felt it would be a waste of money. She was pissed of course so I told her if she would ride the rides that she is tall enough for in lagoon I would take her back to Disney.

I go along with you.:rolleyes1 How about Disneyland in Washington?

I think I heard it was going to be closer to Seattle or Tacoma.

(ok, so it was a dream. I never said I heard it from an actual live person!)

I with you for Seattle or how about Marysville WA it near canada and only 10 minute from were i live and also idaho already has silverwood and many would love come on Seattle or Marysville WA you can take the Disneyland :cool1: plus Marysville would love it so much. Lets go get building now :lmao:

But we have the great Enchanted Village and Water Park here in Washington!

Geez...what a bunch of unappreciative whiners we Washingtonians are! :lmao:

Seriously...unless Disneyland is willing to build it's new theme park inside the world's largest dome, we ain't never gonna see it here...too much rain. :sad2:

WHAT is Silverwood???? :confused3 Is there a family fun place that I dont even know about??? I need to do a web search for all of these things you all are talking about right around the NW.

www.silverwoodthemepark.com (sorry don't know how to do link)

Silverwood is an amusement park and water park a little north of Coeur d'Alene. It is open seasonally. It is really a nice little park and lots of fun if you go when the water is warm enough to enjoy both the water park and the amusement park. They have several roller coasters (one came from Knott's Berry Farm!), a water ride, and several rides a la California Adventure carnival rides.

If you don't expect Disney you will have a nice time.

I agree with Judy from Boise that we are lucky to have what we have considering our population but with our weather I doubt that we will ever see a year round park.

Luckily, DL is a short plane ride away . . .
