New Disneyland opening in IDAHO?

You must be mistaken. I just witnessed a signed proposal between Disney and Steve Wynn. Please don't get too depressed, it will be alright. It's only a 5 hour drive to Vegas for you! You still have Sunsplash!

No, no. On the news just now they were at Sunsplash saying that it will go into ruins once Disney comes in. They said that Wynn threw a temper tantrum and tore up the contract in Vegas just a few minutes prior. It was breaking news. I'm shocked you didn't see it. They showed the video of him tearing it up saying he was too scared of the Snow White ride to ever have it in his city. I'm sorry it's true. In fact they are fasttracking (passing) this so it should be done next month! 249 square miles worth. As you pointed out it's only a 5 hour drive. I'm sure you will be able to visit us often.

They are the only ones that have ever taped together a paper that was torn into more than 1000 pieces. Disney begged us to let them build here, and it was so sad, we couldn't force them to build by you!! So sorry that you're gonna be stuck with Sunsplash, or if you prefer, you could hang out at Castles and Coasters instead and pretend it's Sleeping Beauty's Castle. You poor thing, I hated to post this at such a late hour knowing you were going to cry yourself to sleep tonight.

But if you want to make it even faster, you could hop on a plane and be here in less than an hour!

Actually for the population we have it is really amazing that we have a theme park, a water park, an IMAX theatre, a zoo, museums, a Disney store, a Chesecake factory.....and of course a Hooters!

YAY! for the Cheesecake Factory!!!! I was so excited when it opened up! Now the zoo, that place is a little ghetto! I was raised going to the San Diego zoo, so when I went there the first time about 7 years ago I was a little sad. They had the most depressing neurotic bear there for a while! Anyways..........................

I guess we can always still dream about a Disneyland that would be closer to home, but then where would we all go for vacation then???!

They are planning on airing it tonight. Check your local listings! They just had the ground breaking ceremony with Mickey Mouse and the gang here. In fact it's just a half mile from my house. We were honorary guests at the event.

But don't despair you still have MGM Grand Adventures Theme Park. Oh wait......you don't. Hmmm oh well you could always hit the Circus Circus Adventuredome and pretend that is Spaceship Earth at Epcot. I'm sure you will be fine. Thought I would offer my condolences. I feel for you.

I'll be too busy to come up there in 2009 as I'll be in the Disney park down here.

What you don't know is that Ashton was put in an insane asylum recently. Apparently he escaped and got his own 3rd rate film crew to follow him. He just went where the big story was and tried to punk Disney. Poor, poor Ashton, there really was no reason to Punk anyone since they are really building here. He got it into his mind that Disney was building in LV not Phoenix. (probably by reading your posts) I'm not blaming you for his condition and public humiliation I'm just pointing to the facts. Luckily they chased him down and found him huddled in the desert talking to a coyote. He really is crazy. I'm amazed it came off so real on MTV. Demi just went public about the whole thing and apologized to the people of Phoenix and said she couldn't wait to come to the new park here.

I'm glad I could straighten that one up for you.
