New Disney Visa Discount...HELP

Hi all, I am booked through AAA and called to see if i could also get the Disney Visa discount applied to my ressie. MY TA told me Disney is not applying the discount to any existing reservations. I think this sounds kind of odd (since I have it booked with my disney visa) and my TA has given me incorrect information in the past. Does anyone here, maybe another TA, know if this info is actually correct or not? Thanks for the help all!

Lots of people have had codes applied to existing reservations! I would give her a call back!!!

(I haven't used a TA in years..if this one has given you incorrect information before maybe it is time to switch TAs )

I totally agree with you! She is nice but not all "there" if you know what I mean! I have requested a quote from Dreams Unlimited but I don't even know if I can switch my ressie! I didn't purchase the vacation insurance so i don't know how I would go about "moving" a reservation over to Dreams Unlimited or another source. I usually book on my own using Disneys website, but I am on serious budget restraints so using the AAA discount was the difference between a moderate and deluxe resort for me! Any TAs out there that can give me any "insider" advice?

You know better than you TA, I booked our trip for october in feb, and i just called today, and i'm recieving a refund credit of 255.64. Which is awesome, you can sooooo do this.

I called Disney myself today and they told me that "since they don't have anymore availability for the WL, they won't apply the discount I asked what other deluxe resorts were available, and they listed a couple. including AKL. I asked for a quote for the AKL with the discount, and she said "nope all deluxes are sold out for the discount!" I don't really get this and it doesn't make any sense to me, I am already booked, they should have no problem adding the discount on. It sounds like other people are saving a BUNCH of money and I can't simply beacuse I am staying in a deluxe! If anyone understands this better than I, could you help me out. I am just not understanding it!
