A clipping from this morning's Vareity -

HOLLYWOOD (Variety) - Disney is checking into "The Last Resort," a reality show where four couples -- on the brink of either breakup or marriage -- will engage in a series of challenges and therapy in Hawaii.

The project, being developed by Buena Vista Prods., could be ready to go to air as early as January. It could end up either on Disney sibling ABC's daytime lineup or be sold into broadcast syndication.

Disney's also bringing back "Amercia's Favorite Home Video" (meaning more endless hours of wathcing guys get hit in the **** with a baseball).

Ahhhh! Now this is the type of high caliber stuff I expect from Disney!!

Thanks for the good news AV!! :)

Hmmmm. I mean: :(

Synidcation, synidcation...

The Mole is enough let alone this show which is opposite of what most reality shows are.

I was just about to post the article....and you beat me to it AV....

More programming the Disney company can be proud of....breaking up marriages....

P.S. I wonder what kind of photos Bob Saget has of Ei$ner that he's bringing back AFHV....

HBK, while I believe the concept is inane at its core, and I will certainly never watch it. I don't believe it is about breaking up marriages, but rather the opposite. Seems the couples are on the brink of breakup and the "last resort" is to bring them to Hawaii for counseling and an attempt to keep them together. At least that's the way I read it.

Its a sad sad day when I'm more disgusted by a Disney/ABC concept then a FOX concept (The simpsons will have to start making fun of ABC instead of their own network now.

That sounds even more ridiculous than that "Big Diet" reality TV show from Europe.

Sigh... If Disney wants to do reality proramming, they should return to their roots. Here is my suggestion for a Disney "reality" show.....

Mouse House: Mickey, Donald, Minnie, Daisy, Chip and Dale are all locked together in Cinderella's Castle for 6 weeks. Can their relationships survive the experience, or will some of these couples be broken up forever? The temptaions will be huge since both Chip and Dale run around naked, Mickey never wears a shirt and Donald never wears pants. Will Daisy and Minnie succomb to this animated flesh fest , or will they remain true to their mates?
