Dear Ronald Duck: Love your pictures of the WL! Question...was that first one taken from your balcony? If so, what a neat view! What was your room number?

Dizz42- We were in 6129...a King Room facing the lake just before the start of the outer south hallway. Great room!

My first trip to WDW was in 1996 with my sister. Because I had been reading through many home plan book and many of the homes were Cape Cod / New England style (which was not one of my favorites) I had no interest on visiting the Yacht and Beach Club. We went to all of the resorts to check them out during the week, including the Swan and Dolphin, but I didn't care if I saw the Y & B Clubs. On Thursday we had extra time so drove over to the Beach club and parked and walked up toward the front. Got the photo below. Went inside. Sisterliked the BC better than the GF. Went out through the back and saw the Boardwalk across the lake (would open in 2 months) and walked over to the Yacht Club. We loved it all and I stayed at the Yacht Club in 1997.
