NEW Disney Gift Card Deals and More.

Is there a limit to how much/how many gift cards to buy with the discount?
(i placed two orders of $500*4, and it says it is under review)

So I just ordered Disney gift cards from giftcards.com for $1100 in gift cards each (2 $500 and 1 $100) on separate accounts using separate Chase credit cards with 5% back on each. As far as I can tell, that should get me 15% on $2200 of Disney gift cards minus a few dollars in shipping.

Unfortunately I forgot to choose the tracking option in my hurry to get the orders placed, so I hope I'm OK and don't have any issues.

I also had a credit card declined message on my first credit card order but stayed on the screen, called chase and used the automated message system to approve. Then went in and submitted again successfully. Second transaction on different account with different credit card number went through on initial order with no issues. Now just hope it codes correctly and I get my Chase offers.

The website said that the order was pending review when I completed the transactions. However, I got emails confirming the order with an invoice number for each. I checked and each say "Fulfillment initiated", whatever that means, so hopefully they will be sent soon and are no longer pending.

I wouldn't worry too much. I did it because it was only a few dollars more for peace of mind, but I had like four separate orders last year without tracking and they all came without issue. I imagine the vast majority of orders arrive as expected.

Soooo...I finally got around to adding the last Sam's Club $100 DGC that didn't work the day I bought it a week ago and...it came up as a $200 value...?

ETA - Oops, i'm an idiot. I was getting my $200 Sam's cards confused with my $100 Swagbucks cards. All this discount stacking gets confusing...! :joker:

So before I order any gift cards, I always come here first just to make sure there are no new offers that might have come through. I've specifically been waiting for giftcards.com and even posted about it wondering if anyone know when there would be a Disney gift card sale there since I had the chase offers. Crickets.

I wasn't sure when I was going, but just recently booked a trip with my wife and college aged daughter to visit her sister in January and then head to Disney for 4 days. So now I needed to get a second room and tickets I wasn't originally planning on. Then her sister asked us to come down in February again to help out as her husband will travelling for 2 weeks and she has year old twins. So we tacked on a couple of Disney days to a week long stay with her in February as well. And my projected Disney expenses were rising quickly. And my gift card balances were dwindling just as fast.

So this morning I got a little impatient and went ahead and ordered two $500 gift cards from BJs for about 5.5% off. Did I follow my own advice and come here first, especially with a relatively low offer from BJ's? Of course not! When I did I saw the posts about the giftcards.com offer. Quickly went on to the site and ordered as I posted above.

And then went to BJs and was able to cancel my order from there. I was surprised they let me cancel a gift card order but I guess I was quick enough.

Lesson learned. Again. Always check here first. Always.

Is anyone else having an issue trying to apply "EARLYBIRD" code to their giftcards.com order? I took the Rakuten link to buy the gift cards, I have $1100 in my cart and 've tried 2 different browsers and I just get a spinning icon and the code never applies.

Nevermind. I figured it out. I cleared cookies.

I'll just add a data point as to why I won't do a giftcards.com deal again unless I'm willing to go to the full $2,000 and have it shipped with USPS tacking (which, as I recall costs about $8.99 - if you do it for any less than $2,000, pretty much eats up the cash back you’d earn). I did a $500 DGC from them back in July and had it shipped regular mail. It showed up in my daily USPS e-mail of scanned mail as that it was supposed to be delivered maybe about 5 days after shipping, but it never showed up. I called giftcards.com, and they wouldn't do anything about it until 10 days had passed. I tried to explain to a rep that it should have showed up and I'm afraid it got stolen - they just wouldn't do anything until day 10. Called on day 10, they opened a ticket. Waited another week, called again, ticket was still processing. Sent an outraged e-mail and finally got a refund for the $500 about 1 day later. On one hand, I'm glad they stood behind it, but incredibly nerve racking and I'm not interested in that again. Just not worth it.

I really wish they did digital DGCs. Until then, I'll be hard pressed to order from them again. YMMV.
Excellent point! I would pay for the tracked shipping which does eat into some of the savings.
ShopRite.
Giftcards.com
My credit card is on fire and melting as we speak.

Alas, my Shoprite insists gift cards be purchased with CASH.
Ugh that's rough, but I'd still probably buy with cash because the discount is so high!

I'm curious what everyone's gift card strategies are like. At one point I was buying basically any deal I could find. Meijer frequently does $50 in store credit for a $500, and I stock up on those, along with the 10% off offers that pop up on Sam's Club and GiftCards.com.

At one point I realized I had over $3k in GCs with nothing to really spend them on (lol). Ended up using them on a cash stay and lightning lanes and just general food and merch money for the parks.

On one hand, I can't pass up a good deal--it's as good as cash to me, so the 10% savings is great. On the other hand, my next trip in March is all paid for via DVC, so gift cards really only help for food and merch--do I really need to buy 3/$500s on GiftCards.com right now??? The temptation is real.

I've justified it in the past as in "oh it's my Disney savings account, I can use it on annual dues, and I'd never use DVC on a Cruise so this is kind of like my cruise saving fund. But it gets to a point where I think I'm holding too much Disney cash (if that's a thing)
I typically only buy DGCs throughout the year if I am saving 15%+ since there is no way I would make that much holding the money in a HYS.

I know I am short on my 2026 DVC dues so I am willing to go down to 10% like the Sam's deal since it was so easy. I have to see how many Chase offers I personally have to map out my maximum return with GiftCards.com.

I was able to grab two $1100 orders on 2 different Chase cards. Both are "Under Review" and "Processing". Keep your fingers crossed for me!

One order, on my Disney Visa Card, came out to 16.39% and the other on my DH's SWA Card came out to 15.49% assuming that the percentage off is based on the $990 before the shipping was added. I have nearly $3k worth of DVC dues plus a week long trip scheduled for January.

Disney Visa Calculation
Value of cards: $1100
Cost of cards: $990
Shipping: $8.95
Rakuten 2% off: (19.80)
Chase 5% off: ($49.50)
Disney Visa 1% off ($9.90)

Value of card = $1100
Giftcards.com charge = $998.95
Combined rebates/promos/etc = $79.20
($998.95-$79.20)/$1100 = 16.39%

Hmm. I was going to skip this one but this may be too good to pass up. Thanks for sharing.

Can I just ask, giftcards.com isn’t the same site people had problems with a few years ago is it? Where they ordered, then waited for weeks & sometimes never got them?
No, while that site still exists it now makes you do ACH transfers from your bank account. I believe you can pay with a credit card, but there’s a super high fee.

That site ripped off a lot of people and if you did get the gift cards, it would take over thirty days conveniently after they’re supposed to guarantee was up.

I was a little nervous ordering thru giftcards but i pulled the trigger lol hopefully if anything happens can just dispute it with Chase. This cruise is costing soooo much then im used to I gotta get these savings when I can

Very nice savings!

I finally have enough time to sit down and see how many Chase offers I have. Hoping to get at least 2 or 3k 🤞

Quick question. I see the 5% Chase offer which I clicked on. How do you also use Rakuten?
