Another experience with physical cards in person at Sam's this morning -- my Sam's had them and they were marked at $190 and rang up at $190. Fortunately, I had a kind checkout person who did an override and let me get them at $180, but it took a bit of work.

Bought 4 yesterday and arrived within 2 minutes. Already paid AP with them.

I combined all 4, called Member Serivces for DVC and put toward AP Sorcerer Renewal. Didn't even transfer to a hard card. Simply wrote the # down and gave to DVC over the phone. Wow....definitely will do next year if they have promo. Last year I entered on a hard card and this was so much easier and took 1 minute........would have taken even less time if DVC rep would have spoken clearer English (wow!....first time in 12 years was barely understandable). I never got the survey at the end or would have given her a "1" and not a 5 like usual.

I tried to order for the first time a few minutes ago. It appears they are sold out.

I was able to order four cards from Sam's Club just a minute ago! Check again if you were not successful yesterday.

I bought 4 Disney egift cards this morning online and bought 4 more in-club. Here's the warehouse in-club ad. Limit 4 per member.

Dang! I went to my Sam's this morning AND another a bit further away and NEITHER Sam's club had the $200 at all! I wonder if they are getting rid of them completely? Not even sure if I should try any more stores

On our way to the airport, we stopped at our local Sam’s and bought two. I just checked online, and was able to get two more. Hopefully that order finalizes. Whew!

This happened to us, initially it showed $190 and I mentioned to the cashier it was supposed to be a Doorbuster for $180, and when she hit the subtotal button it took the additional $10 off, so all good!

I bought 4 online yesterday and bought 4 today with a huge asterisk *

* my "in person" purchase rang up at 190. The human cashier had to do a price override. It DID NOT come down to 180 then he hit the subtotal button....so he had to void the 4 at 190 and then manually enter the 4 with a price override of 180.

In my case it seemed that that the system knew I purchased 4 online and technically had reached my limit.

So I bought 4 DGC online at Sam's Thursday night (I am a Plus member). After almost 24 hours was finally able to add the last one to Disney Gift Card site and consolidate them.

Just got back from my local Sam's Club. At first it looked like there were no $200 GC in stock, so I did my other shopping. As I got up to the registers, there were 2 more GC displays. Sure enough, they had the $200 Disney GC. Not marked Doorbuster or anything, but decided to try it out. Went to self checkout, and voila, they scanned at $180 ($190 with a $10 savings. Purchased 4, no problems at all. Going to try and add/consolidate on Disney Gift Card site right now.

Yes! My friend went to Sam's Club today--she hasn't puchased yet, but her fiancé who has his own account was like, "why isn't she buying them online? I can just put them in my cart." and I went to try and sure enough it worked. They both have their own account (friend is technically on her moms) so they can each get 4 so I hope they can get them in store too.

They're for the trip we're actually taking over New Years, but every time she dogsits for us, he tells his family she's watching the dog because we're going to Disney. So they think we just go to Disney like 5 times a year.

27 hours later and no cards in the email yet. I know it says within 48 hours but I’ve never had it take this long to get cards in the past. It’s a bit nervy.

Look for voice messages that might have been blocked or marked as Spam. It might be the fraud department calling to confirm it was you making the transaction, that has happened to me with Sam's online purchases.

Does anyone know if the Sam's DGC deal will qualify for the the RMN 10%? I placed a big grocery order for pickup and wondering if it makes sense to add the DGCs. I normally wait for a Target offer at close to 15% to stock up on Disney gift cards...

I tried. Both of my purchases have already been deemed ineligible. Not surprised.

Yeah, sometimes they don't realize it's a gift card and it squeaks through but don't want to spend $800 to find that out! Will continue to wait for a Target offer - it's been m-o-n-t-h-s.

I went to Sam’s and they did not have the $200 DGCs marked on sale but they did have a table of door busters where they were marked on sale. I checked out with a person and they rang up as $190 but they were able to do a manual override! I didn’t try scan and go or self checkout.

SYW peeps- merge your thank you accounts if you have multiples. Some people are able to this themselves online under the thank you account but I had to call in. Call the Thank You program direct 800-THANK-YOU (800-842-6596). I had my TY numbers from my 2 custom cash cards and the SYW converted to TY card and the rep needed it all. After some verification everything was merged into one account. (This gives you better redemption options, for instance the custom cash gets 1cpp while the TY mastercard only gets .5cpp)
