Thanks! Somehow I still messed it up. I think using existing circle rewards reduced the $ on my order. Even though I spent about $83, I used $40 in earned circle rewards resulting in my order summary as spending $43. Plus the different items ended up being shipped in 3 separate packages so I'm not sure it'll count. I should've read up on all the details but this seems overly complicated.

I also ordered and they shipped separately and did not qualify for circle reward. I cancelled all the items and have given up on target too many hoops to jump through. also reordered all items from walmart and was cheaper.

There is debate if you should add gift cards to your accounts with Uber/Lyft that maybe it can make prices increase, so each their own. I have gc in my Lyft account and Amex credit on my Uber. For those WDW focused, I found Lyft consistently cheaper on a trip a couple weeks ago. They also run the MVs.

Thanks for this! I also had the $15 off when using Amex MR so saved $35 off $100 Lyft GC when totalled together. Have a few trips coming up where we'll be occasionally using Lyft, so these will come in handy!

Hi, yes, thanks for pointing that out - when I "reply" from my browser on a cell phone, it reformats the quoted section - via laptop computer, the formatting remains in the quoted section. Not sure if this is a widespread issue? I was not aware, however, that it wasn't connecting my reply to its original quote. Apparently it clears both formatting and the reply tag.

I hear you. There are a couple of “nice to have” vs. “need to have” (for us) 5% cards for specific categories (utilities, groceries) that we continue to hold off on for the same reason.

We decided to go with two BofA CCR cards because $2,500 per card per quarter nicely covers all of our DGC and other online purchases with 5.25% cashback. And I love the simplicity.

Yes, I'm tempted ... I think I would prefer just choosing where I want my card allotted instead of playing the quarterly "waiting game" to see if any of the categories work for me ...

And that $2500 spend is definitely a preferable limit when you are staring down the barrel of family AP purchases ....

Yes, I select the online category for the entire year. Set and forget.

Also, right now there is a promo running; 6% cash back is available for the first year.

For sure. We have been able buy more than enough this way to cover APs, annual dues on 410 DVC points, meals and spending during stays, etc.

I’m not that technical but I have issues when replying with my iPhone where I can’t bold things from the original post that I’m replying to but on my Mac I can. Not sure if that is the same issue.

For these target offers, I would just buy DGCs for the entire amount or more to get the bonus, and then use the bonus to buy whatever I need at Target. This is the easiest way.

For target we do our grocery shopping there. I had some stuff to pick up. Some shipped. The rewards show once it all ships/is ready for pick up.

The issue is if it’s a third party that something is from. It won’t count unless all from the one I believe.
