Update: did a purchase for 2 $25 physical cards and some odds and ends. No email from amex about using the offer but I got the $20 credit a couple days after shipment.

Was just passing a Walmart before thinking of this very offer and if it would work on DGCs. So you ordered physical to be delivered? Not in store correct?

I consolidated mine this afternoon. They all showed as Sam’s Club.

Has anyone who ordered gift cards from Sam's Club yesterday still not received them? Got the email confirmation, but the email with the gift card still hasn't shown up...

I just got my second card at 3 AM today, ordered at 9:30 AM EST yesterday. I got my first one at 9:03 AM on Friday. Because I wasn't comfortable ordering more after it took close to a day to receive the second card, I missed out on 2 more purchases. They were sold out by the time I received my 2nd one.

FYI my Sam’s has had these in stock since Christmas time for the same price in case they have a limit on these online.

Personally I’m holding out for when Costco or Sam’s brings them back for $429.99.

Hopefully Chase will be offering 5% on warehouse clubs then too.

Just a warning, many airlines (I know specifically Delta) will only allow you to use their gift cards for the flight itself and NOT on anything extra like bag fees and picking a seat. In fact, according to the terms and conditions,

"A Southwest gift card is not valid for the purchase of Southwest Vacations Packages, cargo, hotel, rental car, Southwest Airlines merchandise, Southwest Airlines group tickets, EarlyBird Check-In®, oversized ,overweight, and excess baggage fees, Upgraded Boarding at the airport, Pet Fares, Unaccompanied Minor service charges, additional Southwest gift cards, or inflight purchases. Sales tax, security fees, and Passenger facilities charges may be paid with a Southwest gift card."

So from the parts that I underlined and bolded, it would seem that you will not be able to pay baggage fees with the gift card. (I am assuming the only reason they haven't written it in the terms and conditions is because at present there are no baggage fees.)

True but like Delta if you hold the credit card even if not using it you will get one bag per person on your reservation up to their cutoff amount.

I finally got the email with my Sam's Club DGCs from 5/2.

These and ones I picked up from CVS via Chase Offers are both showing Walgreens for some reason.
It also doesn't show the correct date. The image below was a Sam's Club that was purchased on 5/2/2025.

Well I guess the date might not be relevant to Sam's but it did previously show as Sam's
This was bought on 10/29 right before they went on sale for $180 that I got locked out of.
I guess Sam's really does run out of these if they are dated about a month before purchase date?

For CVS all have been purchased at the same location and all were the Frozen (Plastic with 4 digit pin )

The only reason I bring this up as from learning from @FoxC63 and @gottalovepluto I write down every purchase into a spreadsheet that includes all of the information from the receipt such as register, trans #, place of purchase, amount and the Number and Pin # ie absolutely everything in case there is ever an issue with a card.

If I do have an issue I can tell them I bought the card at CVS or Sam's Club but their system might be showing Walgreens and cause some issues.

I just noticed I have 10% off CVS on 6 of my Chase cards. I was thinking of going to pick up Disney Gift cards. Have you ever had any problems with getting the cash back from Chase? Or something wrong with the cards? I vaguely remember a lot of fraud going on with gift cards from CVS. thanks
