My friend who ordered with a 15-day trial got the first 3 cards ordered around 9am still waiting on 4 more cards (ordered 1 at a time) from around 11am. I'm still waiting for 3 cards that I ordered at around 12:30pm.

I assume that they are manually reviewing certain orders for fraud and it is taking a long time to get through them all or are waiting some amount of time to validate the credit card charge is good (maybe?).
Possibly I received a fraud email from Discover after my third set but it came through after I verified I was making the purchase.

I really wish Discover wouldn’t have grocery stores bundled with warehouse clubs but now that $3k has been spent the two cards have been retired to the sock drawer. Here’s hoping Q3 will be DGC friendly as well :)
 

The cards I ordered from Sam’s this morning finally arrived this afternoon at 3:25. I just tried to use one of the cards to make a payment online for upcoming trip and card shows a “0” balance!
Update I called SAMs customer service which is apparently located in the Philippines…”Kurt” was great he told that usually I would be transferred to the gift card assistance team but he gave me “a one-time courtesy “ of refunding me for the non-working card. Said I would receive refund in 5-10 days and that I could re-order new gift card.

I bought 3 yesterday morning to try for the glitch as well. But I misunderstood the instructions & thought I had to wait 12 hours for the reset. Of course they were sold out by then. I checked agin about 10 minutes ago & was able to see “low in stock” instead of the sold out message. It let me add 1 to my cart, but if I tried to increase from that, I got the “limit of 4 per account” message. But I was able to add the 1 card & check out. Confirmation & gift emails received immediately @ 8:26 & 8:28. So I got to 4 with the deal.

Edit..I just saw @Liquidice’s post. I must have lucked into a limited restock to supply previous orders.
 
Update with a twist- might help others

An hour before the sale I added my Discover to my Sam's account. I have not used this card with Sam's in the past.

At 9am I loaded my cart with 4 cards (I did not need to do the 3+1 trick this time) and pressed "Submit".

My card was declined.....seconds later I got a "antifraud" text and I replied that it was legit.

I was advised to retry the transaction........BUT

When I tried to do it again the page had the everyday price and not the door buster price.....the system counted my first attempt as my "4". Drat!

I went ahead and bought the 4 for 760 and then called Sam's.

They said that once the cards were delivered they would refund the 40 bucks if I called back.

A few hours later the cards were delivered, and I called......Sam's initiated the refund.

Several hours after that I called Discover and they confirmed the refund was being processed.

Whew!

This was my exact problem too misunderstanding the glitch workaround. I too had read it as buy three wait 12 hours then buy more! Ah well maybe they’ll restock if not it is what it is. Glad others were able to load up!
 
I decided to make an account for the $20 senior membership since I realized I used to have a trial account. I had to chat with CS to remove my email from their system to make it work and then had to wait for it the change to propagate through their system. By the time I did all that, out of stock. :mic:
 
Shoot!! I got the 4 at 9am o’clock and stopped reading the thread…. I missed on the trick to get more…
Happy with the ones I got… but… lesson learned :)

Sam's Club has a history of screwing up their DGC promotions much to our benefit so yeah, specifically with Sam's always check this thread day of! I recall a time or two they released early, another time they didn't enact any limit. Sometimes they do get it right though lol.

But, but- GMAIL IS FREE! Brand new emails with free forwarding to your normal email are like 2 mins away...

Have to agree. We have two and they are now maxed out. My dad gave me his (which he never uses) to
use for the next two months. My college age daughter just got approved and her card coming in a few days. Never thought I would need 4 Disc cards but all bonuses will be maxed out just for this quarter a majority just for gas and food!

Wow you were lucky I had been checking since around 7:00 am and only got the “out of stock”. I was able to buy 5 yesterday but one had a “0” balance when I checked. I called and was told I would receive a refund and could order another card but I tried and was not able to do so. I’m happy with the 4 cards I did get. I would advise everyone check the balances on their cards and make sure you actually get the $200!
