New to this forum and thanks everyone for all your inputs on DGCs. Do you know which Vanilla GCs works? I tried last week and it said "Contact Issuer" at the service desk.

The cards that Staples puts on sale for no activation fee every few weeks. Only the visa, not the MC.

I didn't believe vanilla work for much of anything besides regular in person spending. My memory is they are the most frustrating to burn but I may be confusing them

A little late to the party but I stopped buying Vanilla Visa due to having issues with them. But, I did find this Post #23713 interesting. I' don't know if it still works....

One trick I saw on Reddit that worked for me was to use "Gift Card" as the cardholder name. I was able to use it at Target online without an issue.

I don't know if the poster bought everyday merchandise and/or gift cards and I wish they would have provided a link to Reddit because the date is important. The older the post, it might no longer work in 2025. Though interesting huh?

Still not able to get another DGC from Best Buy. I will try 24 hours after first purchase.

I forgot about Best Buy so a little more than 24 hours.

I was able to place an order at 3:58 PM after purchasing 6 cards yesterday.
Cards arrived 4:17 PM
New order was placed at 4:20 PM
Second Set came at 4:38 PM

Again 3rd order will not work.
Guessing it is 6 a day.

First Order placed at 3:37 pm
Cards arrived at 3:56 pm

Second order placed at 4:03 pm hopefully not cancelled

Edit: Order came through at 4:23 pm

So multiple orders seem to be working.

Remember for those that have the 5% PayPal on Freedom Unlimited cards you can use that. (www.chase.com/mybonus)

Edit #2:

I was not able to place a third order but will try later.

Heads up for those buying gift cards from Best Buy - Retail Me Not currently has 5% back at BB. I've always had my gift card purchases from Best Buy track (including the one that I bought yesterday) and pay out, but obviously YMMV.

ANYWAY, here's the flyer March 12 - April 6, 2025 showing $200 DGC for $190, limit 4 - This isn't new, right? We all knew about that or have things changed at Sam's?
Does this mean it resets and those who have been trying to buy will have this available to them starting on March 12th?

I posted the offer early yesterday. The offer should last for a week. 3 a day is possible with one account.
I believe BB does have a 24hr time frame after the last purchase. A full 24 hours too!

I think you may have misunderstood, it wasn't a real Q. Many here have reported not being able to buy $200 DGC from Sam's again within a certain time frame. Having said that, with the new ad, hopefully they'll be able to take advantage. This is something peeps will need to try.
