Hey all, I know there is another thread for Hurricane Milton - but just wanted to say I hope anyone in the FL area that was impacted by Milton is safe and doing OK!

On the Target offer - is it still not triggering correctly? Is the safest bet to go to the store and purchase a physical DGC?

I was waiting for things to settle down before purchasing, but I only have 2 days left before mine goes away, I have buy $125 get $15, so it is a pretty good deal.

I noticed mine says this for qualifying purchase: "A "qualifying purchase" is a purchase made with your Target Circle Card after you activate the Target Circle Bonus, meets the minimum purchase threshold and excludes all items that do not earn Target Circle Rewards."

DGC's don't earn Circle Rewards right?
My spend 120, get 15 triggered with $125 DGC, subtotal after redcard $118.75. I think you're good to go on using it.

Folks who are reporting issues at this point tried the first day. The system isn't going backwards and correcting the fail-to-trigger mistake from earlier, but it is working on new orders.
 
My offer also said had to use target circle card (red card). I bought $125 in Disney e-gift cards for $118.75 on Tuesday and my reward came through no problem. I think a lot of people had issues on Sun and Mon so I waited until Tues when other reported they theirs was working

So glad to hear recent purchases are triggering. I was told ultimately that all giftcards are excluded but “as a courtesy” they’ll give me the $15 in two days. They even copied the text that clearly doesn’t say “all giftcards” but I wasn’t going to argue with them for fear next time they will state all giftcards.
 

Don't the items have to ship first...assuming you purchased goods along with the gift card.

If just gift card it should be on email delivery as always. I just spent over the threshold for my offer with a combo goods and eGC so we'll see when that comes through

Similar experience this morning. I reached out via online chat, after waiting 2 days to see if it tracked. The first person who helped me first said that I didn't meet the spend requirement, until I pointed out that the offer says it is calculated before other discounts, and I met the requirement before my redcard discount. They then said that yes, I qualified for the reward and it was a known issue with this offer not tracking, and that I should wait until the offer period expired, reach out again, and then they would fix it. I politely said that was not acceptable. They said they could not resolve it, so I asked that it be escalated. I was transferred to a second chat assistant, who first tried to say I didn't meet the minimum and that Disney gift cards were excluded. I pointed out the offer terms on the amount again, as well as the terms that excluded Target gift cards and pre-paid AmEx and Mastercards, but did not exclude 3rd party gift cards. I told them that I had already been told by the first assistant that my order qualified and that there is a known issue, and that I was told to chat or call again in a few days. I told them again that I did not think I should have to wait & spend more of my time to reach out again to resolve this, when they are already aware of the issue. At that point they simply said they agreed, and were able to credit the reward to my account.
I just did the online chat and after some back and forth, they agreed that my purchase qualified for the $15 reward. They absolutely refused to credit my account today because they said I have to wait for the promotion to end first. They said my account will be credited automatically on Monday. We'll see.

I am guessing they are having people wait because the offer is now working, and people could make another qualifying purchase before the promotion ends, and get the deal and also the manual credit.

That should explain why I never got the $15. I must have done it the first day.

I just did the online chat and after some back and forth, they agreed that my purchase qualified for the $15 reward. I'll have to try the online chat. I have read (on the old DGC thread) before that they wait until the promotion is over before they credit you.

I got the $15 on $120 spend on both accounts and the second account went right through.

I vslled and same result. I read the actual qualifications to the agent and he kept insisting that any gift card is a “Target gift card.” So annoying. I screenshotted everything and will call again Monday.

What annoyed me the most was that the agent told me even though I "misunderstood" the bonus they were going to give me the $15 as a courtesy. I felt like saying "I'm not the one misunderstanding the situation here"...but I restrained since they say they will issue the credit.
 
Just did the chat. I was told I could either still use the bonus or chat back when then bonus expires to have it entered manually. I was given a case number so they can look it up and not have to explain what happened again. They said there was an issue in the processing of the bonus.

Why should I be penalized for their mistake? I never tried to cheat anything.

I did basically use the offer twice. The $14.25 refund the chat rep promised, was credited to my bank account today. Why he did it this way and for this amount is unknown but it did leave the bonus still available for me to make a second purchase. I still spent double the $$ for Target's profit! 😆
