Similar experience this morning. I reached out via online chat, after waiting 2 days to see if it tracked. The first person who helped me first said that I didn't meet the spend requirement, until I pointed out that the offer says it is calculated before other discounts, and I met the requirement before my redcard discount. They then said that yes, I qualified for the reward and it was a known issue with this offer not tracking, and that I should wait until the offer period expired, reach out again, and then they would fix it. I politely said that was not acceptable. They said they could not resolve it, so I asked that it be escalated. I was transferred to a second chat assistant, who first tried to say I didn't meet the minimum and that Disney gift cards were excluded. I pointed out the offer terms on the amount again, as well as the terms that excluded Target gift cards and pre-paid AmEx and Mastercards, but did not exclude 3rd party gift cards. I told them that I had already been told by the first assistant that my order qualified and that there is a known issue, and that I was told to chat or call again in a few days. I told them again that I did not think I should have to wait & spend more of my time to reach out again to resolve this, when they are already aware of the issue. At that point they simply said they agreed, and were able to credit the reward to my account.

Your $124.99 out of pocket should have met the $125 threshold and triggered your reward. I would definitely reach out. The fact you had two pickup locations should not matter considering it was on the same order. You'll be just fine.

I just chatted with Target and my experience was similar to @Shannon G. Once Target confirmed I had met the requirements for the offer they wanted me to wait until the offer expired. I pushed back (thanks to Shannon's experience) and they escalated my issue. I had the reward in my account after a few minutes.

Going through the struggle now to get Target chat to recognize my order from Monday with $100 of Disney gift cards should have trigged our Circle offer of Spend $80, get $10.

First agent said gift cards are excluded. Nope. Explained and she admitted they're not excluded. Then said to reach back after the promo ended. Nah, no thanks. Got escalated to the next person who said... gift card are excluded. Sigh. Nope, still not excluded.

What a hassle. Chat continues...

Update 1: And now the chat person is claiming digital purchases do not count: "I just checked the details for you and any digital card purchase is excluded form the bonus offer. Unfortunately we are unable to honor the offer for you... any kind of gift card purchases does not qualify for the offer." Wowza, they're awful at this.

Update 2: Had to do a call (18+ mins) and be handed off to two agents. Finally one said they would give my account the $10 credit, but only after the promo expired. They really know how to make something more of a hassle than it's worth. We'll see if the credit actually happens or not.

Long story short, I did not think my first order would trigger the offer because I had a physical DGC that was shipping after the offer expired. So I put in a second order for $150 of emailed DGC’s. (I have $150 for $15). It still didnt trigger. I read what you wrote above and went to look closer at what qualifies.

Technically it does not say email delivery qualifies.

I did get someone to apply the reward. But my offer is still showing. I believe that is why customer service reps are trying to put us off until after the reward period is over. So we cant use the offer twice.
Lastly, I asked the CS rep if Target IT is glitching. She said she thinks the issues are because it’s circle week.

Interesting! I wondered about the shipping part too and looked to see if the order emails said "shipped" or not. Mine didn't say shipped. That could be it. Then in that case they should/could have easily added "digital delivery" items as excluded, but they didn't so hopefully they do make good on these promises.

Of course that could be tested by ordering physical cards, right? Hmm... nah, I'm not going to test that theory.

Yesterday I still hadn't been credited for my spend $150 get $15 reward from Target on an eDGC. Did a chat and the rep had no problem seeing that I had qualified and said there was a glitch with it being credited. For whatever reason, he said he would issue me a refund of $14.25 (no idea why this amount) back to my form of payment (CircleCard) and it would take 3-5 days. The bonus was still there 2 hours later, so I went in-store and bought another $150 in DGC and immediately got the $15 reward. Now I'm just waiting to see if the $14.25 refund posts too.

I dont remember either. I know it has always worked. My point is not to confuse anyone, but, if Target won’t honor email delivery, then, in this case, it’s justified?

Chatting with Target right now. Same response as everyone else. First told giftcards are excluded then told since I used my Red Card the purchase was $142.50 so under the $145 threshold. Then told they're sorry I was confused by how the bonus works but as a courtesy will give me $15 credit if I chat back in two days. I asked for it to be credited now instead and now I'm being transferred to a specialist and starting all over again. I think I'm all done with Target offers.

I just bought $350 worth of boys sweatpants. My Disney gift card did not credit, and I don’t want to bother with the hassle for $15. so now, even if I return $200 of these sweatpants, I would still qualify.

I’m not sure if my son is a medium or a large so I ordered a big batch of both. I’ll keep $150 worth and return the rest.

So annoying! But my kid needs sweatpants anyway.

Worried that they’re going to stop offering the 5% off Disney gift cards if too many of us complain!!

On the Target offer - is it still not triggering correctly? Is the safest bet to go to the store and purchase a physical DGC?

I was waiting for things to settle down before purchasing, but I only have 2 days left before mine goes away, I have buy $125 get $15, so it is a pretty good deal.

I noticed mine says this for qualifying purchase: "A "qualifying purchase" is a purchase made with your Target Circle Card after you activate the Target Circle Bonus, meets the minimum purchase threshold and excludes all items that do not earn Target Circle Rewards."

DGC's don't earn Circle Rewards right?

My offer also said had to use target circle card (red card). I bought $125 in Disney e-gift cards for $118.75 on Tuesday and my reward came through no problem. I think a lot of people had issues on Sun and Mon so I waited until Tues when other reported they theirs was working
