NEW Disney Gift Card Deals and More.

To answer your original question, you can print it out or you can log into disneygiftcard.com (with the same log in info that you use for My Disney Experience) and you can move the amount of your digital gift card onto another physical Disney Gift Card. Some people prefer to use a physical card instead of carrying around a piece of paper. Sometimes I buy a $25 giftcard from Target to transfer my digital ones to.

Thank you for this information. I may do just that. Can I also put the amount of the card on my Disney account on my app?

You can’t preload a gift card, but keep it somewhere like a Notes app where you can copy and paste it for a mobile order or multipass purchase.

Another tip is to load the card onto Disneygiftcard.com and then if you lose the physical card, you can quickly buy another one, load it to the site, and transfer funds from the old one to prevent someone from using it.

LOL, I have no idea what you are talking about. I do not have a disneygiftcard.com account. I am 67 and going to Disney with my husband and friends (who are Disney Annual passholders and are DVC people.) The last time we went was two years ago, and the two years before that... all for the grandchildren. Those two times, I purchased some gift cards here and there (never at a discount) and kept them in my wallet for various park usage. Actually had some problems with redeeming some purchased at Target and Food City. Disney was very gracious and gave me a popcorn bucket, and a wet fan for free. So I had not planned on using them again. Just as easy to stick my arm out and have the charge go to the CC on file with my reservation. This recent card purchase was done on a lark (because of the BB deal post in this thread) and will be the only card I will take with us unless there is another 'deal' out there. Thanks for the links!!!
You can still charge to your room, and stop by the front desk to apply the gift card to your resort room account. Just do it before they charge the credit card you have on file.

I will say kudos to Best Buy for enforcing the limit of 1 (I know this is not what many people want to hear). If a store is going to have a good sale and only a limited amount available, it makes sense to allow as many people to get in on the deal and not let just a few people buy the deal many times.

That being said, I can't comprehend what the point of these types of sales are. Besides for the fact that holding it at 11:00 AM in the middle of a work day means that most people in the world can't get involved even if they wanted to, I don't see how this type of sale in any way gets people to shop at best Buy more which usually is the point of a sale.
I thought the same thing until I told my wife and she said “Best Buy still exists?” Maybe they want people to remember they still exist. Lol

Don't leave your gift cards loaded on your account at DisneyGiftCard.com. People's accounts there have been hacked in the past and the money taken from their gift cards. Once you consolidate your gift cards, be sure to remove them from the website.

UPDATE due to feedback I received through PM here.

I have been accused of spreading unfounded rumors with the comments I posted above. So people can read the source of my comments and draw their own conclusions, below are some relevant threads from the Budget Board.

Regardless of how people's Disney gift card accounts were accessed and funds taken, it's still an important security action to remove any gift cards from that site (especially if they have funds remaining on them).

Unfortunately no. You have to either have the print out or a physical card. There is a way to add it to Apple wallet but you have to start with a digital card from the Disney Store…probably a little more complicated than you’re looking to do.

I generally remove them right away, I just keep them on the site for the short time I am traveling in case I lose the physical card.

The other thing to keep in mind when using gift cards is that any refunds go back to that form of payment, so keep the card number if you use it for purchases or tickets or trips that might have a refund in the future,

I wasn't able to get the BB deal because my app never got past the wait screen. But I'm not unhappy: DH and I each had the spend $200 at Lowe's get $50 back from Amex. I went to the store today, bought $400 in DGCs (two transactions), and already got the emails that the $100 (2 x $50) statement credit is coming. I love when this deal comes around, easy 25% off!

Oh my goodness. This is all too much! 😏 Thank you all for the tips!

Given your personal preferences and the overwhelm with so many choices, here's what I think will make the most sense for you:

1- keep right on sticking your arm out and charging the room
2- when you know you have at least $100 in room charges, swing by the front desk, give them the paper print out of the gift card, and have them apply the balance to your room charges

Many of the other suggestions here, like using a notes app and combining cards, are more necessary when folks are trying to load up enough cards to cover their trip. You can keep it simple :-)

Excellent idea @TheOneWithTheTriplets

I can leave the paper print-out card in the safe at BC and not worry about losing it!

I originally purchased the card with the idea of using it to pay incidentals (popcorn, ice cream, a drink, etc.) as we go around the park and not have so many small amounts charged to the room. I do like the notes idea of having the card number to paste onto food orders. But then I realized that the couple we are going with has already made us lunch reservations everyday of our stay. 🤨 So we are not going to be ordering on the app.

Speaking of popcorn...I seem to remember that I can take and use the old popcorn bucket, that I purchased on the last trip, to get a refills at a lower cost? Any idea what the current cost is to get that refill?

No, this is so wrong. It sounds like they had their email hacked. The possibilities of scammers are endless.
The only way I'd ever believe the site was hacked was if there were wide spread reports. The DIS is just one outlet. We would see it on fb, reddit, heck even tiktok. And I'm sure we would see other reports from some of our favorite bloggers like kennythepirate, disneyfood etc. And no doubt we would hear about it on national news media.

So far none of the above has never happened. There has never been wide spread thievery (that's a word right? looks right), anyway. No.

My “Best Buy Total Membership” has to be renewed on April 1st. I joined when I purchased a new iPhone as it included the Apple Care but the only benefit I’ve used is the discounts on Disney Gift cards and I don’t think those discounts are worth spending $179.99 just to be able to purchase gift cards…

What about the BestBuy Plus for $49.99?
With your purchases do you have enough certificate rewards to apply towards a membership.
