I combined Disney gc this morning with one I got yesterday. I didn't get any emails, including the normal login one. Nothing went to spam either. It's the 3rd time I've combined cards this week and the first time ever I've not gotten emails for adding, transferring and deleting cards.

I logged in on my phone and got the login email but did the above on my laptop like I normally do.

Has anyone combined any today and gotten emails?

Beware if you run a credit balance with DVC and decide to sell your membership you can only get refunded to the gift card you used. Now I am stuck with a large disney gift card and have no use for it.

So if I want to take advantage of the $15 AMEX Pepper offer and I really don't care about anything related to points it's pretty straightforward right? Just make an account, use the card to purchase a Walmart GC or whatever and just call it a day with the $15 back?

OK edit to say I signed up and see that Sam's Club is 5x points. Is that decent? I was looking for Walmart GCs to use today. I remember seeing something about certain times of day they boost points? If I want the GC to use at Walmart in the next few hours am I just grabbing it at the 5x?

They used to have Boosts of 12 - 14X for Sam's Club but those used to sell out in seconds, so they finally realized it made more sense to only do 5X at Sam's Club and not have the bots/resellers just buy them all up in seconds. So it hasn't been more than 5X in the last few weeks.

I will point out that of my 7 Amex cards that had the offer, the credit posted on 6 of them within 2 - 3 days but one of them from November 22 did not post. I tried chatting with Amex and they just quoted the standard language from the offer which says "Please allow 90-days after 12/31/2024 for the statement credit(s) to be posted to the Account, provided that American Express receives information from the merchant about your qualifying purchase." So basically I have to wait until the beginning of April before I can get anything done. What a pain.

Wow, that is a good warning. I have frequently paid ahead on my dues with small increment gift cards as I accumulate them. Seems like a better idea to combine them on one main card just for DVC dues. That way if I ever had to sell there would only be one gift card to keep track of for the refund. Not that I am planning to sell, but you never know…

Same, I definitely plan to keep my BW contract until it expires, only have 100 points there. We do have a larger contract at AK which we may consider selling later if our kids don’t want to use it.

My giftcards .com DGCs arrived today, I sort of regretted not paying for the tracking number especially for the $500 card I bought but thankfully they all arrived no issue! Next time I will probably pay for tracking if I buy a larger card for peace of mind.
