hi all !!! glad to find this site!!!! ok here is our trip report to wdw march 3-12 2003. let me just say thank god for ebay!!!! ok we flew on southwest airlines out of prov ri to orlando. well the flight that day was one that i could not wait to end. we started off fine but then the skies got angry and the plane was old, our pilot who had started out very nice and very handsome was now not a happy camper. we were juggled from 15000 feet up to 30000 feet up more then because of what the skies were doing to our plane, he had to drop us very quickly to 27000 feet and then down again to 20000 feet and that is where we stayed for the duration of our flight into orlando. can we say "white knuckles"??? i love orlando international airport. i love sea world. starbuck and orlando(the keywest dolphins)are the stars of the keywest dolphin show at sea world. dolphin cove is just adorable. i love the dream come true parade at 3pm at mk. i had bought our park tiks from ebay many months before our trip. very cheap and no problems with the tiks at the gate at all. smooth sailing with all that . we did 2 day universal studios. (which tiks were got from doing a time share....never again.) we did 2 day sea world (fantastic!!) we did one day mk (that was ok) and we did one day ak. (once you see the tree of life...wellll that is about it) we checked out a few things on international dr. which was interesting. there is point orlando and mercado shopping ctr. with tons of restaurants and such. there is wonderworks , and there is hard rock vault (which we will be doing this coming march). tiks for wonderworks bought on ebay!!!! i am such an ebay addict!!!! ok sooo now we stayed off property, which i am not against....but when staying off property, you need to be very careful where you stay and what you reserve. we stayed at ramada inn resort at 7400 international dr. which i reserved thru turbotrip.com. nooo problems at all with check in. but we had to move our room 2 times. the first one had to bottom of the door kicked in...that was enough for me to walk away from that...then the 2nd room everything broke, the bureau drawers came off the hinges, the ac stopped working, and the fridge did not work. ok soo we were move to yet another room. this room was fine. as we say 3 times a charm...sooo that was ok for our trip we were really only there to sleep. the pool was very cold we did not go in. soo you get what you pay for when it comes to staying off property. just be careful. but one trip to mickeys world and i am hooked!!!! i learned alot and cannot wait to go back!!!! next trip to see mickey and the gang.....march 29, 2004 to april 8. 
hi deb...ohhh the trip home was wonderful. smooth sailing all the way. but by the time we got to oia to come home i was already crying...seriously....i really did not want to come home. i was offered a job by wyndham palms resort timeshare, which i would have taken in a heartbeat, but i had to consider my son and a major move and the husband said not right now. sooo back home we came. but it makes it all the more exciting for making plans to go see mickey and the gang again. 
three weeks??? can you pack me in your suitcase??? well march is not too far off it gives me more time to buy, buy, to make me feel like i will be staying with mickey for over a month!!!!! i hope you have a magical, wonderful time.
