New dates for 2026 staring to appear

We are thinking about the 10 night Southern Caribbean cruise on the Fantasy. I was hoping to do concierge but it is $22,000 for 2 people. Ouch! Anyone care to share their experience on the Southern route? We are very excited!!
We did the 10 night on the Fantasy this past summer. We loved the ports but there were definitely some surprises on the ship. There were issues with some unsupervised teens with security being involved. Apparently this is common on this sailing. We personally had issues with some of the adults around the adult pool. Nothing that ruined our trip but things we wished had been prepared before. The dining room menus also got very repetitive. There were some nights that were just bad that even our waiter agreed with us.

Once again I sure wish there were more 7 night Domestic (besides Alaska and Triton class). Fantasy is the
family's favorite and miss doing the 7 nights on it.

That is interesting the Magic and the Wonder doing Alaska. I wonder what brought that on.

Oh I didn’t mean new Alaska itineraries I meant in general, these announcements have become so predictable and just same old itineraries every time, with more ships it would just have been nice to see them start switching up where they go a bit more
I agree. Like it’s great the Destiny is doing a 7 night Eastern to St Maarten and San Juan but I’d like more of that because June doesn’t work for me.

Assuming the Wonder is scheduled for Dry Dock August 17th - September 7th 2026?
Was hoping to sail on the Wonder for my 60th at the end of August - may look at the Magic, but not fond of the Thursday - Thursday schedule.

I’m honestly super surprised with the 2 oldest ships in Alaska. Am I the only one hoping they don’t sell well and can jump on a super cheap sailing? Otherwise I’m very disappointed in the fact nothing is new or exciting. My biggest hope was a round trip out of Rome during July no such luck. Or better yet 7 night cruises during summer out of NYC. A girl can hope. I find myself thinking of cruising either a 5n on the dream or the 7n treasure last week in August just to use my place holder as I find nothing next summer I want to use it on.

While I don't think I would be fond of the Thursday - Thursday schedule for the Magic, it would allow us to fly in on a Tuesday and fly back on a Sunday, which would give my wife more time in Vancouver compared to the Monday to Monday on the Wonder. It would end up being one extra day of vacation, but she would be able to spend a day and a half before the cruise and 3 full days after to explore Vancouver, compared to the 3 1/2 days with the Monday to Monday. She really liked it the area and wished we sent more time, when we cruised Alaska back in 2022.

I was happy to see the Norwegian cruise with a stop in Bergen. Has DCL gone there before? I hadn’t seen it listed recently

I wanted the same timeframe and will be sailing in May instead as the Thursday-Thursday doesn’t work for us.

The gap is 3 weeks so I think it would be dry dock.

This goes back to an earlier discussion about Juneau and other cities putting a limit on the number of ships, since they want a smaller number of "tourists" in town at one time. Why would DCL send a larger ship with more passengers? I think they are trying to appease the locals. Same reason they no longer go into Key West. Also AK appears to be a hot market so I think they will stay pretty full.

Sticker shock!! My goodness DCL is really getting expensive. We have cruised 20x with them and only a couple times with other lines but these numbers are pushing us in the other direction. I get it…. If the boats continue to fill up the prices are not going down but it’s starting to get above our heads. Especially the prices for concierge. We were hoping to try out the Treasure but couldn’t find anything under $8k (most itineraries are over $10k) for a concierge cabin for those 7 day eastern/western Caribbean routes. Same tired old ports as well. Sorry for being Grumpy!! Just disappointed

I was not expecting for them to have both the Magic and Wonder in Alaska. Was really hoping one of them would being going of San Diego summer of 2026 so we could do a more affordable cruise that we could drive to.

We haven't been on the Magic so maybe I'll consider a second Alaska cruise. But the prices are probably too much for us next summer (as well as the Europe and Destiny options).
