New codes are out for DC members! Post your deals here!

Booked 7 nights at WL, September 17-24 for $1409.17 tonight using the fairytale package! I hope that this is a good deal... I can't wait!

Sept. 20-28, 2002 - AKL Honeymoon
Sept. 17-24, 2003 - WL 1st Anniversary

Going Aug 24 to Sept 1, 9 days. FT package. Staying at All Star Music. Just me and my DD who will be 10.

Total for airfare, transfers, uph, room, taxes, everything is $1667. I thought that was pretty good. Can't wait to be there.

We arrive early on the 24th and leave late on the 1st. That way we can use the uph on our last day.

(airfare alone was $538) so going on a Disney vacation for 9 days for $1129 is great!!

As far as I know, you can't use this package on camp sites, cabins, 2 br villas or suites.

Does anyone know for sure if this is true? I understood the FT package to be good at all resorts etc?

Last night I booked 2 concierge rooms at AKL using the Fairytale Package. She quoted me a price and then when we were done she said the price and it was $400 lower. We couldn't figure out why.

Well, I was worried so I called back this morning and she had one room booked at AKL and one room at WL. I never mentioned WL during our conversation so I am glad that I called back because it would have been kind of strange for us to be at AKL and my MIL way over at WL.

Had I waited until my confirmation had arrived there may not have been any concierge rooms left at AKL to make the correction.

Anyway, I really didn't want to take advantage of this deal at first because we wanted a type of room that it doesn't apply to. I booked 2 concierge rooms instead of a suite and saved us over $4,000. I"m pretty happy this morning!!

Just got off the phone with reservations - the CM helping me said the Fairytale package was not out yet for discussion. I told her that a friend had called me yesterday informing me of the package and VOILA - all of a sudden she knew about the package. She kept putting me on hold because she had to keep asking questions, how many nights, what it included, etc. she wasn't informed very well. What's up with that?

I am going solo September 13-27 for 14 days, staying at the CSR the first seven and CBR the last seven days. I booked two separate reservations and it came to $849.55 per week or $1699 total.

I figured this to be a good deal. What I did was deduct the cost of an annual pass of $369.94 (which I would buy for this long of a trip...and I won't be able to go again within the 12 month period) and came up with a room cost with tax for the 14 days of $94.94, or a before tax rate of $85.53.

I am getting my airfare free through my Delta Skymiles card--first class, I hope (from the west coast). Calling today on that.

So, I just need to round up transfers from the airport and I'm all set. And, I'm very excited about going again. I went solo last September for 14 days at POFQ and it was the most relaxing vacation that I have ever had.

Just called (well I am not really sure who I called but it was the DC number) back and dropped the last night off of the package and booked room only for the last day which saved 124 dollars. So, it is now WL woods view, nine nights(one night being room only), 1 adult and 2 children for a total of 2198.25. That includes insurance.

Now if only my boys were as excited as I am. They are begining to think I am a little nuts with this WDW planning stuff and would be perfectly happy at the ASp.

OK - just booked (let me know if this is a good deal please!) -

Coronado 7 nights - Waterview
2 adults & 1-10yr old child -
UPH for all included
$1496.01 incl tax

Is that it cindala??

You hit the nail on the head cindyfan! While it still is a great package, it's still a little 'padded'. As Mary explained, they are probably not taking the 15% discount off of the room like they are with the DreamMaker package.

Also as the UPH are a flat rate per adult and child - the higher the cost of the hotel - the more money you save overall... and in concierge - well that is a real deal as you get three "free" days of breakfast, snacks, drinks, desserts etc... on top of the "free" room nights.

This is probably why more and more people are upgrading their packages to deluxe resorts & contemplating concierge.

Now is the time to take the GF Royal Palm Concierge!

With everyone wondering I had to do my math to see what I was getting.

If I booked the Deluxe Savannah View for the seven nights with UHP I would pay 2731.75 with tax included. The passes (2) would be 730.60 so my total would be around 3462.35.

With the Disney Club I would pay 2199.06 for the same room. With passes my total would be around 2929.66.

With the FT package I paid 2082.50 - tax included. I feel better now because I am saving money.

If there are any mistakes I am sorry! I did this quickly, I am on the way out to a meeting.

Everyone have a wonderful trip.

Kathy

Original plans were ASMu 12 nites (regular season) preferred view at $1245.00 (AAA discount-includes tax) and then off to Poly GV 4 nites (value season) at $1134.00 (AAA discount-includes tax). Then buy PAPs for 2-adults totaling about $1000.00 (DC discount). Grand total was about $3379.00.

With FTP plans are now ASMu 9 nites (regular season) preferred view w/UPH passes at $1390.51 (includes tax) and then off to Poly GV concierge 7 nites (regular season) w/UPH passes at $2483.95. Grand total is $3874.46.

Yes, the overall price went up but now I am doing the Poly concierge and adding 3 nites to the Poly stay. I have never stayed at the concierge level before and this trip is a surprise 60th birthday gift for my Mom so I am SOOOOO excited that we will get to experience the concierge. I have heard so many great things about it from this board.

Ok so today is the day everyone can start making those reservations right???????

Finally nailed down my Package.

Before, scheduled 7 nights AKL Pool view on DC discount. Myself and daughter only would need 5 day PH. Cost would be $2211.73. Maybe would have been a better room only code on room but maybe not.

Now, going 9/1, 7 nights YC Concierge. Myself, Daughter (9) and my mother will be coming along. Cost 2629. Even if we kept things as before, having my Mother along would have brought the cost up to $2428. So for 200 more get UPHs for all and the perks of Concierge. I've never done that and am really excited about it.

I think for us on the DIS this package is getting up to go up a notch or two in level of room, value to moderate, moderate to delux etc.

I'm certainly happy with everything!

Has anyone gotten any deals on BC OR BWI? We are considering BC or BWI and are trying to estimate the cost for 7 nights, 2 adults. Does the Disney site give the prices with the new FT package deal?

These new codes are great. We were looking at staying on site for 4or 5 nites to go with our Disney Cruise, but to get 7 nites for 4 and including UPH that is just a cherry on my sundae. :Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc

Hi.. yes you can price out or book the FTP's online.

On the reservations page - there is a yellow box on the left hand side... if you click on it - it gives you info and a link to price out packages.. just like the normal reservation area.

Or try this link (Hoping it works here)

BWI with Fairytale -

Hi pwcarlson.
We just booked BWI (our favorite) for July 4-11 for $1810.55, all inclusive. We think that's quite good. Standard room. Waterview would be $2127.23. Enjoy!! Bob

>>^..^<<........I was just curious, so I entered our info to see what would come up online.....
The price quoted to me online was $120 more than what they quoted over the phone!!
Any idea why????

ps....I know over the phone they subtracted the $50 bonus for DC.....but what about the other $70?

Just figured it out.......it is for vacation insurance:rolleyes:

...3rooms for 4 adults/3 children w/UPH for 7 nites (July 26-Aug 3) for $3090.00! WOOHOO!!!:bounce: :Pinkbounc :bounce: :Pinkbounc

I just got July 13 for 7 nights for 3 Adults and 2 juniors, $2950 for the Poly, I think garden view.
This is with the DC discount. Is this a good deal? All of these numbers are making my head swim!!
