You must have a trip sometime around the second week in October - we really got a bad deal, didn't we?!

When Best Rate was released on June 17, it was already past 120-days. Plus, the free dining ends October 4. So October 5-15 really got squeezed out. I keep dreaming of a deal coming out just for those of us who are going too late for free dining and too early for Best Rate. I even booked way in advance!

I sound like my kids - it's just not fair!

The free dining is through Dec now isn't it? They offered it to me...

I thought free dining was only through October 4 - they re-released the booking time to go into August (originally had to book by July 3) - if there's a free dining plan through December, it's news to me -

Can anyone else confirm?

I just did some research and I am still coming up with the free dining 8/21 - 10/4...

Maybe I am saying it wrong? I was quoted the MYW dining package, I have AP but would have to buy 1 park pass each. It was too high for me. Maybe this is a different deal, but he did say the stopped offering dining and then they opened it up again.

What exactly was the deal until Oct??

I'm sorry if this is a dumb question but what are Best Rates and who is eligible? I thought I had read on Mousesavers that there hadn't been any promotional codes posted at all this year, but I could be wrong...

There have been codes posted this year I used an AP code for April, and right now there are some FL res. codes maybe others but I really don't pay to much attention unless they are for dates that I am looking for........Like now I am looking for the middle of Oct. and so far they only extend til Oct.4.
Best rate plan is still out there but in my opinion is not all that good, when it first came out I thought, great this way I won't have to watch for codes and then apply them to my ressies, but after emailing Disney this is the reply I got .
MY QUESTION WAS.................
IF I BOOK NOW AT RACK RATE USING THIS SPECIAL PASSHOLDER BEST RATE PROGRAM
DOES THAT MEAN THAT WHEN PASSHOLDER RATES OR FLORIDA RESIDENT RATES ARE
RELEASED THAT I WILL AUTOMATICALLY GET THAT BETTER RATE ????

The best rate plan also has to be booked at 120 days out and if cancelled you lose your deposit.
They must think most of us are idiots. First off I use the codes when I want to upgrade a ressies. I book what I can afford and then if there is a code I will try to get a deluxe, if not I stay with my original ressie. And if for some unforeseen reason I have to cancel I have up to 5 days ahead of the reservation to cancel I then lose nothing and my deposit is returned.

Hope that helps clear up some of the confusion that the "Best Rate Plan" has caused.........IMO the best rate plan is the best rate for who, it certainly isn't for me!

7th - 11th

right now booked at marriott using DH points so it is free.
just waiting to see if ap rates come out.
tried to rent points.
all rooms gone

so if all else fails, we will stay outside park

Spoke to a CM last night and we got chatting and her take was definately not IF AP rates come out but a case of WHEN, although she didn't confirm they were coming out this week, she was in no doubt we'd see discounts for AP holders past 10/4
