New clothes for DisCon

Has anyone else bought some new clothes for the convention?

I know Steve has a great new jacket, and that Barry needs pants. Some of you are even talking about gloves, tuxes, and tails!

I didn't buy much this summer, and I think I'm going to have a real clothing problem when I start pulling things out to pack. So far all I've bought is a new pair of running/walking shoes, a lightweight vest, and a pair of those mini stretchy gloves, in case it gets cold.

What about you, are you prepared, or do you still have some shopping to do?

I got a Mickey Santa hat from the Disney catalog. That's probably all the shopping that I need to do.

Snowark - I am buying new clothes for Dis Con because if I wear what I have I will not be a pretty sight. hehehehehehe!!!!

I am planning on bringing layers so that if it is hot or cold I will be prepared. Only problem is that I will have no shorts to bring instead, as the ones I have are now 3 sizes larger than I am!!! Yikes!!!!

I will have a blast buying stuff before hand!

TC, the hat sounds cool! I love hats, but it's not mutual, they wreck my hair!

Glo - congratulations! Every time I lose some weight, I eventually go back to my old eating habits and gain it all back! (Hard to believe that Glo-Con was almost THREE months ago!)

I've gotta buy some new jeans and shorts. I haven't lost as much as Ms. Glo, but most of my pants fall off if I don't quarter them and put on a tight belt. Got my Fantasyland meet hat, got my Mickey Santa hat....I'm almost all set.

I need a few new things since what I wear from day to day is soooooo bleh!!!!!!!!!!

And I need to get some new walking shoes ASAP so I can break them in beforehand.

I was just at Dillards this morning and found so many things I wanted for my trip to WDW, but they were all waaaaaaaaaaay too pricey for this poor lady.

Hey glo, can I have what doesn't fit you anymore? Congratulations glo! That is just awesome!!

I think I might end up in jeans a lot of the time, because I don't see when, where, or how I'm going to have time to go back to the resort to change into warmer evening wear. I think I'll just leave in the morning with jeans and sweatshirt or light jacket tied around my waist.

Ok. Patrick took the wedding pictures you sent me to the tux place and had an expert, there size you up...lol. I just put a deposit on a white tail tux, with top hat, cane and white gloves for the week of 11/27 to Dec 3. So, now you have no choice but to go to the tea. As for those running shoes....lol...I have been working out everyday and I can catch you anyday....rotflmao...




Ms. Mackey dear I want to see that tiara of yours? Let me get this right, you are going to wear white gloves, a tiara, and casual park wear??


Boy I wouldn't miss this tea for all the tea in China....hhehehehehe

I'm bringing my camera to the tea, FOR SURE!!! Patrick in a tux and top hat, and Marsha in her tiara. These are the moments of our lives!
As for my wearing apparel, I picked up a few neat shirts while in WDW. I actually bought a holiday shirt and sweatshirt at a tent at the AK set up with tons of Christmas stuff! Other than that, I have my other Disney shirts and sweatshirts. I will be in jeans if it's cool or cold, otherwise it's shorts for me! I have a great pair of sneaks that are broken in just perfectly. I have my Santa Mickey ears hat and my Minnie ears headband. I have my WDW gloves and hat, just in case it's really cold. I do believe I'm almost all set. I'm getting my giant suitcase down from the attic this weekend and I'm going to start loading it up.

I think I may bring my black sequinced dress for this affair...I mean they are in a tiara, and white tux??? We can't have them show us up right?

Tia, I'll be wearing jeans too, nobody up here is selling shorts anymore, it's all parkas and mukluks!
