New clothes for DisCon

Can someone please tell me where to go, er, um, I mean can someone please tell me where to find a 'what to pack' list? I know that there are some real 'doozies' out there and I used to have a couple of them bookmarked, but now I can't find them.

I think my own list is pretty all-inclusive, but inevitably I always forget something that someone else remembers.

One of them that I used to have was everything listed in alphabetical order....that was awesome for a control freak like myself!!!

Glo, I forgot to mention that I think it's wonderful that you've lost that much weight since July! That's really fantastic. I wish I could loose half that much!
Snowwark, it's not too late to sign up for the tea. I'm taking final confirmations right now. There's a post somewhere here on this board asking for a count. We'd love to have to join us, the more the merrier.
Tia, I only have a packing list for the cruise and it was 5 pages long!!!!!!!!!

Barb, I knew there was a reason I hadn't signed up for the tea, but I had to check my intinerary to see what it was.

The tea is on the 30th, right? I was planning on doing the RnR coaster meet for newbies (trying to anyway) at MGM, then heading over to AK for the lunch and Safari. If the tea doesn't start until 3, that doesn't give me any time to rest up, lol, for DATW at 6. If I manage to get on RnR coaster, I know I'm going to need to lie down at some point during the day!

I'm going to a Halloween party tonight - as Cinderalla - I have my dress and tirara - but I just can't find my glass slippers and long white gloves any where!

By chance, have any of you seen them?????

She has a tiara too, so I bet she was covetting those slippers, and I have been hearing a lot about her white gloves.....

I am getting ready to go...
I got a new pair of pants and new walking shoes. I am going to get one more pair of shorts and a new bathing suit . I am borrowing wool sweater from my whole family except the kids, and mittens and scarves.
I must be really careful with packing bc I am going away for 20 days!!!

And the greatest news is that my boss confirmed my 45 day vacation! Yipee!!! I deserve it.

DH and I have to get new walking shoes and maybe a couple new sewatshirts. Everything else we have...I think!!!

My new digital video camera finally arrived on Thursday! Now all I have to do is figure out how to use the darn thing before DIS Con! Can't wait to get videos of all my DIS friends and all the holiday decorations!

Livia, I envy you having 45 days vacation!!! I don't get that many in a whole year!!!

Can't wait!!! Only 26 days & counting down to my arrival at WDW. I'm soooooo excited!!!!

Congrats on the 45 day vacation Livia, that's great!

I went shopping for DisCon clothes this weekend. Came home with a cardigan, 2 identical pairs of shorts, and a glass doored hutch-buffet combo thingy for my kitchen.

Don't you love when that happens? You go out looking for something in particular, and out of the blue, you come home with something totally different. The wonders of shopping, it's a good thing.

BTW, no white gloves, tiara, or sequins.

Oh I took my Black sequinced dress out of the garment bag it sits in....hmmm.I can't believe it fits...anyway...Patrick I ordered the tux for you dear....lol


Got my long black gloves to match, white just didn't go with the dress sorry.hehehehehehehe

Did buy two sets of cords for the trip and three sweaters...I also managed to find a pair of shorts for three dollars. So it can be hot 1 day while I am down there....lol

Livia, 45 days! That's incredible. But, I know it's well deserved-you do a tremendous amount of work for one person! Way to go!! I wish I could bring a video camera. I love doing that stuff. But, my video camera is just too big to lug around. Someday I hope to get one of those teenie, tiny ones.

I do that all the time. And, if I talk myself out of something, I always end up going back and getting it later.

Did someone say a tiara?? Guys.. do not make me pack the Tiara to prove a point.. I have to state here, I am a very casual person so will be casually attired..jeans, sweaters, shorts, tshirts. sneakers, sandals. that is it..now accessories is another story.. LOLOL

Now about the black sequienced dress, you I defeintely have one, and it finally fits, but I will only wear it if PAtrickIL wears his white tails and top hat, otherwise I am jeans and a sweater for me....lol
