Calling all character fans! A new character has been spotted!

During the filming of the Christmas parade at MK, a new Playhouse Disney character made his debut...

Handy Manny!!!

I guess we will have to watch the parade now. Although if some of the other Playhouse Disney characters are any example, it will be a while before he gets out into the parks.

Handy Manny is a male character on Playhouse Disney. He is a repairman with talking tools.

Is the link to a competing site? I notice that it blocks those sometimes on here.

Oh DS will be SO THRILLED to see Handy Manny. Wilmer Valderamos does his voice. I hope we see him in 17 days!

Imagine Bob the Builder with talking hand tools instead of talking trucks and you have the general idea. He also speaks spanish, similar to Diego and Dora.

My 4 yr old DS loves him.

we just surprised them with their upcoming trip and the first thing DS asked was "Are we going to see Handy Manny?" I wasn't sure so if we do it will be a bonus!!

Ick. I hate that show. You could just see the suits sitting around, trying to come up with an idea. "Boys love building! Let's make him hispanic, since the Dora market is so big. Talking tools? Great! Done by Bob with his machines, but hey, who wouldn't love a talking screwdriver?"

Actually, what I hate is the CG. It's so badly done.

My DD's, 5, 3, both love Handy Manny. My DD5, in her letter to Santa, asked for a set of tools just like Handy Manny. Santa had to do some serious work to find a set with all 8 tools that Manny has!

all 3 of my kids wanted tool sets this year because of him, santa has already marked them off his list My oldest LOVES him! Infact she was asking to get a Handy Manny balloon at disney when we go... will I have any luck finding one??
