New Castle Show

I've not seen it yet. May try to catch it this weekend. As you say, not sure. Moving mouths seems a little eerie... :worried:

Not sure how many of you read the Community Boards, but have you seen this yet? It's the new castle show with the talking heads.......the characters mouths move and their eyes blink!

Not sure if I like it yet, kind of werid to watch.....

What do you think?

It is wierd. I just wonder how they're doing it? Whether there are puppeteers controlling the heads or there are signals in the sound track that control the head animation.

I know I know! Pick me!!!! :bounce:

Ahhhhhh but sometimes the magic just has to stay...."magical"

I'm guessing they are controlled by radio frequencies that are tied to the soundtrack in some way. Very cool for sure.

Having a puppeteer for each head with remote controls would be too costly and labor intensive and prone to error.

I'll have to watch my very first Castle Forecourt show this trip. Been there so many times but haven't EVER watched one -- imagine that!

Highlight the following text for details on how the characters are done. (Don't want to spoil the magic for those who wish it to remain so): It's controlled by the performer's hands. The right hand controls the mouth and the left controls the eyes. As you watch the video, pay close attention to the characters' fingers and you'll see.

And as is often the case... the simplest answer is the correct one!

Thanks for the info Joe. And welcome to the Dis!

Love your castle and welcome to the Dis!

Wanted to go to the MK today to catch the show and perhaps lunch, but the rain doesn't look like it's going to let up........

Oh well, maybe tomorrow!
