New Carsland Buttons - Update 11/19/14

We were there about 1.5 weeks ago, and DD6 received this one at Mater's Junkyard Jamboree. One of the cast members gave it to her as she got out of the tractor trailer.

I just got back from Disneyland yesterday. They've got a new Carsland button! The CMs said it just came out and they were being very secretive about it (for some reason ). The first CM I talked to said that they didn't have any buttons yet, but when I said I'd seen some folks wearing one and wondered where it came from, they admitted they had it and gave me one! So now, there is....

• Flo - available at the counters where you pick up food at Flo's V8 Cafe, but they were out of stock last weekend( 12/15),
• Red - available from the CMs at Red's Meet and Greet,
• Mater - available from the CMs at the entrance at Mater's Junkyard Jamboree, but they seem kind of hard to get,
• Sarge - available at Sarge's store, and...
• Luigi - available from the CMs at the entrance to Luigi's Flying Tire ride

When I went to get some buttons a few weeks ago, all I could get was Sarge and Flo. I was told Mater was saved for kids

I think it depends on the CM you get. Some only give buttons to certain people, while other CMs will give them to anyone who asks. If you want to collect the buttons, it seems like you just have to ask every time you walk by the location. Hopefully you'll get a CM that will give them to you at some point.

We got all the buttons as we got off the ride (Luigi's Tires). The guy handed us a handful of buttons each. It was really early, he took our picture for us and gave us the buttons. I didn't even know what they were. Just thanked him and put them in my bag.

I agree with above poster who said it depends on the CM. Some give them out, others don't. Really random.

There is now also a Lizzie button! It was available from the cashiers at Route 66 Curio Store.

The buttons are too cute! I'm hoping to get some when I go for the first time in June. Is Carsland the only place that does buttons or is it all over DL?

Ah! I was just there Thurs, wish I would have known. Ds3 still needs Luigi, DJ, and now Lizzie! Hopefully they'll still be around in early April when we plan to return!

DJ was hard to get; you had to find the CM with it when the DJ car was out. The CMs at Luigi's said they were out and probably wouldn't get more in until the end of the month.

Just a quick update...Carsland had three new buttons this week (I don't know we when they first arrived): Sally, Ramone, and McQueen!

Sorry, but I haven't seen a Finn button. So far, it's been mostly/only cars from the first movie.

Can anyone get a button? I'm a huge fan of free stuff. I will be visiting Disneyland next month with a friend, and there won't be any little kids traveling with us. Can we still get buttons if we ask for them? I know we will be eating at Flo's, and probably doing a lot of other stuff in Cars Land.

The buttons are free and anyone can ask for one, but the CMs do not always have the buttons in stock. As of mid-November, only the Sally, McQueen, and Ramone buttons were still available and Epek just mentioned a Sheriff button. I think the earlier buttons are now all gone.
