New cabanas?

Hello! I know that DCL has not confirmed new cabanas on CC; however, looking at all the pictures that are coming in, it seems as if this is where DCL is going on CC. Does anybody have a rumored completion date? Cheers!

I have no completion date info, but was there last week and can confirm that they are in the process of building more. The frames look completed, there were cranes at work, etc.

We were told they are aiming for October completion. That would put them right in time for the Destiny!

Are they adding cabanas or replacing the original ones or both. We were in cabana 24 on Serenity Bay and it was in rough shape. I know they were rustic to begin with but the metal roof had actually rusted through and you were risking splinters if you went barefoot on the wood floors so they definitely need work.

I believe they’re taking over the former cast beach near Serenity Bay. Looks like a new dining pavilion is being constructed as well.

They are to the left of the bar on serenity bay if you are looking out at the ocean. The frames looked complete when we were there on Friday.
