New BWV Points?

I was just reading the vacation magic and it says,

"With the new Disney Vacation Club Preview Center now open at Disney's Saratoga Springs Resort & Spa, conversion of the previous Disney Vacation Club Sales Center at Disney's Boardwalk Resort into 19 additional villa-style accommodations began this past July. Work is expected to continue through June 2005."

I have a question - has anyone heard if this will make more BWV points available, or was the recent release of said points because of these 19 villas? I tried to call my vacation guide but she is unavailable, so any info will help. Thanks.

DVC already sold points for the new rooms about a year ago. I don't know how they did that when the rooms will not be available for occupancy until next year, but they did.

I heard they sold those "extra" points a little over a year ago. I am not sure if that is true, but I did read it from a reliable source on this board (may have been Happy Birthday Cat or Dean, I can't remember....but someone who knows their stuff)

Yes, they did sell the extra points. I'm a happy purchaser of some of them. My timing was great, as I decided to add on the day before the points became available. (I was on a waitlist for one day.)

We bought 200 of those points last year. We were able to get Magical Beginnings because they were new points. We can't wait to stay at BWV, that comes in December.

we bought some of those points as well, back in october . we called to buy into SSR and were offered BWV with mb, we jumped at the chance.
