New building near 300 loop levee

I noticed on this trip that there is a new building on stilts on the far side of the level control off the loop. anyone have any idea what it is ?

It is a bat house.

It's a Bat House designed to accomadate about 400,000 bats.

Does anyone have a picture? I saw a lot of building material over there by the canal when I was there back in November and was wondering what they were gonna use it for.

Well part of that material was to start building the bat house. But the rest of it was to do repairs on the canal system. When I was there in Jan 2014 they where working on both.
