We have several in the Atlanta area. They all start out great, but quickly turn. Tables get left uncleaned, the bar in not replenished, drinks are left empty. It drive me nuts because I like it so much when it is done well. I hope the one in Orlando will do it right.

Thanks Kathy, It sounds like a place me and Dh would enjoy when we want a healthier meal then we can typically get when eating out.

Sweet Tomatoes is definitely a great place. I do agree though, that some locations have let their service go a bit. At my local restaurant, the choices seem more narrow and the service a bit slower.

What a coindidence....Kevin and I ate in the one on International Drive yesterday and we thought it was terrific!! We had eaten there before a long time ago and it was just one of those places we never think of for dinner (probably because they don't serve Panda). I was suprised at how fresh and tasty everything was and how clean the place was.

I got a kick out of this very cute employee who was apparently tasked with getting people to sigh-up for their frequent guest program. If you signed up to be on their mailing list she gave you a coupon for a later visit for a buy-one, get one free meal. However, it was the way she went to everyone's table and exaplained how the coupon worked......."With this coupon you buy one and get one free. That means you buy one........and you get one for free!!"

I just thought she was adorable.

We really enjoy this place as well. Chris LOVES the strawberry lemonade and I enjoy a good salad bar. We would sometimes not go because we didn't want the hassle of the I-drive traffic, now that they are so close we will be going more often!!

We went to the one on I drive, a good 4 years ago now, and LOVED it. The only reason we didn't go more often was because it was a long way except if we went to Universal.

Is it walking distance from Downtown Disney? Me and my mom are thinking of walking in Sept!

It's at the farthest end of the Crossroads shopping center. So you would have to walk the entire length of Hotel Plaza Boulevard, cross 535 and then walk the entire length of the shopping center.

I'm winded just describing it......

If you're in good shape I'm sure you can walk it. I doubt it would be more than a $5 cab ride if you're lazy like me.

See I walk for about an hour a day, so its not as though I'm not used to walking, however in hot Florida sun??

$5 seems worth it not to walk!

We just ate at the Sweet Tomatoes on Kirkman and International the day before yesterday. Until then I had no idea there was a new one but on the way home we saw it from I-4 and saw that it looked open! I wish I had known so I could have eaten there instead ~ it's much more convenient to us.
I think it's super that they are close to Disney now ~ I LOVE Sweet T's! It's so yummy.
They had pineapple coconut cole slaw the other day and it was heavenly!
